My fishing buddies and I had a blast staying at the cabin and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Cathryn was so easy to work with, and she made the entire process super easy! The cabin was very clean, modern, and had all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. The typical late spring Minnesota weather went from highs in the low 50s to highs near 90 a couple days later, so the central heat and air definitely came in handy!Turtle Lake is a gem, and we had a lot of success fishing and enjoying all of the wildlife and beauty it has to offer. If I had to list one downside, it's that the cabin is so far away from the public boat access. Small price to pay for such a great cabin/setup though. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back for sure!

Everything was very clean when we arrived! The cabin was so cozy and relaxing! All the basic necessities were supplied, even a pack n play for little ones. The kids loved the loft with the ladder, it made it such a unique experience for them. We love that there were two kayaks so a parent could accompany a child. Life jackets were also supplied for all ages and sizes! The owner was extremely responsive to all of our questions. Overall this was a great experience for our family!

I am from the Twin Cities. We love getting away to Big Turtle Lake to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. Some of my family's favorite activities are boating and tubing. The miles and miles of trails through the Chippewa National Forest are our favorite 4-wheeling trails.

The neighborhood is very quiet. There are dirt roads through the woods coming in and you will likely see wildlife as you drive to the house. If you take Hwy 38 into Marcell, this is a nationally known highway for its beauty through the Chippewa National Forest and the windy roads around all the area lakes. It's a must-see!

We have over 250 ft of lakefront property. There is only 1 neighbor as the property to the south is a vacant lot.
