Welcome to your dream getaway at Tides Beach House!!!! This expansive 2,700 sq. ft. beach house, within walking distance to world renown Harris Beach and a 5 min drive to our other favorites, Mill Beach. It is the perfect destination for large families, multi-generational trips, or groups of friends looking to escape to the coast. With peeks of the ocean from most rooms, a spacious layout, game room/arcade and a well-stocked kitchen, your next vacation will be nothing short of unforgettable. Downstairs you will find plenty of space to lounge, on the plush couch or on the deck seeing the peeks of ocean. There is one bedroom downstairs with two twin beds. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms each with a king bed. For the kids, there is a large bunk room with 2 sets of twin bunks with a tv set up with a Nintendo switch. This home truly has something for everyone!!!

My family and I loved our stay here! The photos don’t do it justice — the home was even better in person. The game room was an absolute gem, perfect for all ages. The murals are cool but the room itself deserves the spotlight in the photos.A few notes for future guests: there are stairs, and the only bedroom on the main floor has twin beds and no TV. I’d hoped to have my elderly father in one of the plush TV rooms upstairs, but he couldn’t do the stairs. The children’s room was exceptional — four bunkbeds, a huge TV, books, and toys.The house was spotless, the beds were cozy, and the kitchen had everything a large family could need — crockpot, big pans, and plenty of silverware. Only thing missing was cleaning spray or washcloths (just sponges provided), so bring wipes if you like to tidy as you go.We’d absolutely stay again — clean, comfy, and perfect for families!

The only bathroom downstairs was far from the action. Lots of space. However, the rules posted at the house and not mentioned online were unreasonable for responsible adults ... food and beverages only at the table or kitchen counter seating. Adults drink coffee, cocktails, water, snack etc. while visiting in lounge areas. The air return vent is in desperate need of a cleaning. Otherwise the space can accommodate a large group for sleeping.

Very nice house. We enjoyed our stay very much. Host was great at answering questions promptly. Having access to more cleaning supplies would have helped with keeping up on the daily upkeep. Also cleaning people arrived at 9:45 and were sitting outside in their truck, which made us feel somewhat rushed as we were gathering last minute things. Overall, great location and house.

We come to the area every summer at this time since 2013. First time at a VRBO. We have a rather large family and this house nailed it. It was very clean, comfortable and convenient. It was so comfortable we could have just played there and did nothing. Super cool. Thanks.

The house was very comfortable and decorated in a fun surf theme we all enjoyed. The path to the beach was only a short walk away. We also enjoyed seeing many deer on our walks. Overall we loved our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Spacious seaside home

This property was a nice spacious home. Plenty of toys for kids and adults. Clean and on a quiet street just a short drive to a beautiful beach.

Perfect home for a group getaway

This home was absolutely perfect for our group! There were plenty of large spaces for everyone to gather comfortably, making it ideal for both relaxation and socializing. One of the standout features was the huge garage, which has been converted into a top-tier game room stocked with the best arcade-level games. Both kids and adults had a blast, and despite all the excitement, the noise didn’t disrupt those watching TV inside.The upstairs bedrooms were spacious, with three rooms featuring king-size beds. Even with the large beds, there was still plenty of room to move around comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including extra appliances, all in new and working condition.This home is beautifully maintained, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for a mix of guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rental in Brookings!
