Esta casa tiene excelentes vistas al mar y está situada directamente al sur de Harris Beach en Brookings, Oregón. Tiene un gran plano de planta abierta con una gran sala de estar y una gran cocina conectada. Tiene pisos de madera en toda la casa, un cómodo sofá, cocina totalmente equipada, un hermoso patio / balcón en la cocina / sala de estar y otro fuera del dormitorio principal. Pasos privados a la playa y una ducha al aire libre hacen que sea fácil disfrutar de la playa y las olas. Tiene capacidad para un máximo de 10 personas, con dos camas king-size, dos camas individuales (en una habitación), una cama doble y una cama doble, ambas en la sala de estar. En la planta baja, te lleva a un área separada con la sala de lavandería y una sala de juegos con una mesa de billar y una mesa de futbolín. ¡El sonido de las olas es hipnótico! Estamos cerca de muchas rutas de senderismo y parques estatales. El centro de Brookings está a aproximadamente 1,6 km, a 20 minutos a pie. ¡Hay carriles para bicicletas también! Brookings tiene muchos excelentes restaurantes y tiendas (¡grandes y pequeñas!) comprar en O, ir a pescar!

We've been renting on the coast at / near Thanksgiving, with extended family, for the past 16 years, generally with ocean views / beach access. The Harris Beach House is at the top of the list for both. The home easily accommodated two families with 3 adult children. Clean, well-appointed and convenient beach access. Great views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And great weather enhanced the visit. We highly recommend this VRBO.

We did not have a host to welcome us, but we did not expect or need one anyway. We had a wonderful time, and the house did sleep everyone. However the downstairs beds were not comfortable according to the women who slept there. The kitchen was quite disorganized and several of the cookware were scratched on the teflon. It is obvious many guests leave kitchen items that just remain. The view from the house was extraordinary, and we really enjoyed that. The beach access was also a plus. Kitchen appliances worked very well, dishwasher was super quiet and efficient. The living room furnishings and TV were all very comfortable and we used this area a lot. There were not enough water glasses. We could have used double the number. All in all it was a lovely stay for us. Thank you.

Excellent view from the deck. Every common room had an ocean view. Loved the direct access to the beach. Very close to town. The downstairs basement area was very well set up. Lots of sleeping areas. Would definitely stay here again

The location, view and home is great. There was some sand in the downstairs game room that was not from us, we didnt go down to the beach but otherwise everything was great. Plenty of space.

Great location. Beach access was very nice. Only 3 private bedrooms that was a bit confusing. Many sleeping area for kids but not much privacy for adults.

When we walked into the home, we were floored by the incredible view of the coast. The location just north of Brookings it perfect to be close to town but still be quiet. We slept with the windows open to enjoy the sea sound and the cool air. Brookings is great for going to Redwood National Park and also go up the Oregon Coast. Tide pools just down at the beach are awesome.

The views were amazing. The house was beautiful. It was nicely stocked and very clean. The grill on the deck worked perfectly. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was very nice to steps down to the beach. We were able to watch the seals on one of the rocks with the nice telescope in the living room.

Even more beautiful than the pictures!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. It exceeded our expectations! The views of the ocean are breathtaking. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and other cooking ware. The beds were comfortable! We would love to stay here again.

This was our third stay. We love this place. The view is amazing and we love the beach access.The house was a bit more run down than last time we visited. In particular, the deck blinds in the master bedroom were falling apart, so they weren't effective. The hall bathroom upstairs didn't have a working fan. Some of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. The nonstick coating on the frying pans doesn't work anymore, even with oil. Other than these few inconveniences, we had a great stay. The kids loved exploring the beach. We were able to view a few seals through the telescope. Quick drive down to hike in the redwoods. Fun spot for a family getaway!

Wonderful View!

Always a wonderful time at the Harris Beach house in Brookings. This was our 6th time staying there. It’s fully stocked, lots of space for families and you can’t beat sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. Our only complaint this last time was the trail to the beach was becoming overgrown. We hope to be back again soon.

Great view but poor beach access

We enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious & comfortable with an awesome ocean view. I rated the stay as “Good” due to a few maintenance issues.The biggest issue was the beach access. Steps & boardwalks were easy to navigate. However, when we reached the sandy part of the trail it was somewhat overgrown. We could easily push through the plants but it was hard to see where you were stepping. The last 2 to 3 feet of the trail was clogged with large pieces of driftwood. A younger, more agile person might have found it easy but at 71 years old the wood shifting under my feet made me unsteady and fearful of falling. Seeing my troubles crossing my 73 year old husband with slight nerve damage in his leg didn’t want to risk it. Once over I did walk south & saw that other houses had clear, easy to access steps up from the beach. Crossing back over the clog was even more unsteady & I didn’t want to risk it any more times. This was a huge disappointment as we booked the house for the views & beach access. We had planned to walk the beach at least twice a day but didn’t feel safe using the path. This really needs to be cleared to be usable.Two small maintenance items:Windows in the living room had either missing or badly torn screens. Couldn’t open the winders because bugs would fly in.Vertical blinds in the master bedroom were missing 4 end slats & one in the middle was broken & missing the bottom half. Lets in a lot of light very early in the morning & looked shabby.
Driftwood jam you had to cross to reach the beach. Very unsteady to step on.
Coming back to the path the jam was even harder to cross.
You had to step across these logs to reach the path to the house.
