Nueva versión modificada de North End Condo con acceso a la piscina

Bienvenido a nuestro condominio de verano! Ubicado en los Condominios Mai Kai, lo renovamos completamente en 2016. Este hermoso condominio se encuentra en el extremo norte de Virginia Beach. A pocos minutos a pie de la playa, ofrece unas vacaciones maravillosas con dos dormitorios. Cuenta con una cama king en el maestro. El segundo dormitorio duerme cuatro en dos camas dobles. Cada habitación tiene su propio baño, TV y ventilador de techo. La sala de estar está equipada con TV, DVD, ventilador de techo y muebles cómodos. En el exterior hemos colocado una parrilla de carbón y muebles de patio. Una piscina al aire libre está a pocos pasos. Hemos diseñado este condominio para nuestra familia, por lo que este es un lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones familiares.

Perfect for a quiet family vacation.

Pool was nice. Easy walk to the beach. Nice location for a quiet family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked and it was very easy to check in and out.

Usually I stay at hotels but with a larger group of friends renting a small home was perfect with a better price than hotels.

Mai Kai condominium

5606A was perfect for our stay. North of the busyness of VA Beach but close enough to walk to the Cavalier hotel, Neptune statue, juice mart and Taste. Also enjoyed a quick drive to First Landing state park. Cottage is well appointed in the kitchen and offered some games for rainy days. The beds / pillows were comfortable. Pool area was a few short steps from the back door. Property manager was very attentive to our needs and came over the weekend to address issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a fantastic rental for our young family. My children are 3 and 5 and the two twin beds were great for them. The house was well stocked and they even had stuff like sandwich baggies, foil, spices, laundry pods, and dish pods. The only complaint is the Wi-Fi was VERY weak. Our phones couldn’t even pick it up and the laptop barely worked on it. Over all it was a wonderful stay!

Only issue upon arrival was master bedroom nightstand lamps were unplugged and not easy to plug in. Pool was nice and convenient. We would highly recommend this condo unit to anyone looking for quality accommodations.

Convenient location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Great location - very quick walk to the beach. Rooms were spacious and kitchen was well appointed. Check -in process was smooth and very professional. Weather was rainy for most of our trip which was unfortunate but we made the best of it exploring the town anyway. We had 3 kids and the 2 double bed set-up was perfect for them. Cons: Apartment is quite old (not sure what was updated in 2016) and not especially clean (hairs everywhere that were not ours, floors not clean). There was no working control for the DVD player and most of the existing TV controllers had no batteries (all but 1). The blinds were pulled/dented and you could see in to the apartment from the front door. I reported all of these things to the management company. Beds were very hard, but I am a person who likes softer mattresses. Probably the thing that I liked least was the pretty extensive cleaning requirements at the end (clean and put away dishes, sweep floors, strip beds, wash hand towels). If you are asking guests to clean and put away all dishes and sweep the floors then the place should be spotless after a cleaning company, which it was not. If you are looking for good location and won't spend much time in the condo anyway this place is great and was quiet and good for kids.

Sea Gem Review from the Stickler's

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sea Gem was a very nice place which was located in northern VB which we enjoyed. We had 2 issues with the rental. The master bathroom tub faucet leaked horribly. Also, we had serious issues with the cable in the living room. I called Anchor Realty twice about the cable issue and they told me that a cable repair man would have to come out. We were on vacation and didn't want to have to make an appt. for the cable to be fixed. As far as the master bathroom faucet leaking, I don't know why the cleaning staff who cleaned on 7/22/17 before we arrived didn't notify Anchor Realty of the issue because the leak was continuous. I did notify Anchor Realty on 7/28/17 about both issues hoped they could get the issues fixed on 7/29/17 after we left. All in all I loved the condo. One suggestion for the condo owner is to gut the bathrooms or at least the tub units and install modern tub surround units. Easy for me to say because I'm not paying for them.
