The Sandbar – A Gulf-View Retreat on Dauphin Island
Welcome to The Sandbar, a spacious 3rd-tier Gulf-front beach house located on Dauphin Island. This three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico, just two houses back from the water, with direct beach access via a private easement. For those seeking the ultimate island experience, the rooftop Crow’s Nest provides unmatched panoramic views of the Gulf, the island, and breathtaking sunsets.
Step inside to a bright and airy open concept living space. The wall of windows and sliding glass door fill the home with natural light and lead out to a spacious Gulf-facing deck, perfect for relaxing to the sound of the waves. The living area seamlessly flows into the fully stocked kitchen, complete with everything needed to prepare meals, a coffee bar with a Keurig and drip coffee maker, and a dining space where everyone can gather. A convenient half-bath is also located just off the kitchen.
On one side of the home, the primary suite offers a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. Across the living area, two additional bedrooms share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo. One bedroom features a full-size bed with a twin-over-twin bunk, while the other includes a full-size bed and a twin bed. Both guest rooms also have flat-screen TVs.
Outdoor living is just as inviting, with expansive deck space perfect for soaking in the island breeze. The Crow’s Nest is a guest favorite, offering incredible 360-degree views of Dauphin Island and the Gulf. Beach access is just steps away behind the home via a sandy path along the fence line. Whether you're here to relax, explore, or simply enjoy the beauty of the coast, The Sandbar is the perfect vacation retreat!
