• Conservando Agua:
En el sur de Bimini, muchas de las casas dependen de tanques de agua o pozos para recolectar agua de lluvia para el consumo. Nuestra casa funciona con dos tanques de agua de cisterna, que se encuentran debajo del patio. Es fundamental que estos tanques no se queden sin agua, así que recuerde conservar agua al abrir un grifo, hacer una ducha, usar una manguera, etc..

• Removedor de basura:
Si necesita sacar la basura, hay un gran contenedor de basura ubicado en frente de la casa junto a la carretera. Cualquier basura no debe tirarse en la cama del camión del Propietario o dejarse en el costado de la casa, donde los insectos / plagas pueden comenzar a acumularse. Recuerde ponerse en contacto con el propietario en caso de que olvide dónde está el contenedor de basura. Queremos mantener la hermosa isla de Bimini lo más limpia posible.

VISIÓN DE CONJUNTO
La tarifa es de $ 500 / noche para todo el dúplex y tiene la opción de alquilar solo un lado a un precio reducido si eso es todo lo que necesita. Cada lado duerme 5. Está ubicado en el barrio de Port Royal, South Bimini. Se encuentra frente a 100 pies de muelle, lo que permite un fácil acceso desde y hacia el bote. Cada lado del dúplex tiene un plano de planta abierto; la cocina, las camas y el área de la sala de estar están todos en una habitación abierta, por lo que no hay habitaciones reales. También tienen su propia entrada independiente. Está muy cerca de la playa (a menos de un minuto), el aeropuerto, Bimini Sands Marina (que cuenta con una cancha de tenis pública, duchas, lavandería, restaurante, tienda, muelle de combustible de la isla y bomba de gas), Thirsty Turtle Restaurant, y el muelle del ferry (que proporciona transporte desde y hacia el norte de Bimini por solo $ 2 por persona por trayecto).


POLÍTICA DE CANCELACIÓN
Los viajeros que cancelan al menos 14 días antes del check-in recibirán el 100% de la cantidad que han pagado. Si cancelan entre 7 y 14 días antes del check-in, obtendrán un 50%. De lo contrario, no obtendrán un reembolso.

Great spot for family

Great weekend with family and friends. Photos accurately show the property and having the dock to bring our boat over was key. No frills but a great spot if you’re familiar with Bimini. Amanda was wonderful and very responsive. Would come back!

Never staying here again

When you get there AC is off Fridge disconnected Everything was turned off, so when you first walk in it’s super hot and everything has a weird smell. No hot water on one side of the unit and clogged sink on that same side. There’s no rooms, which I didn’t like Everything is open and no privacy When we got there there’s was no key so we had to wait about 30 minutes for the keys The lady that we were talking to at the beginning was very nice but the Owner (Richard) needs to learn how to run a business. Very rude and unprofessional! Never staying here again!

Hi Chabely, our instructions shown in our listing state that all breakers must be switched to the on position. There is an additional instructional manual also displayed in the kitchen areas for renters’ knowledge. As you know, we are located on a small island and help/resources are limited, power also can go out at any time due to frequent power outages on the island - also mentioned in our listing. For this reason, is the renter’s responsibility to make sure to turn everything on at arrival, and off upon leaving. The key was left for you as instructed and help was sought to assist you in locating the key as requested. The pictures clearly show that the beds are in a common area as well. The owner was firm with you and your party after you decided to cut raw meat on top of our brand new tables, leaving blood everywhere and knife marks on the new tables. The blood also left a permanent stain on the table and floors and you nor your party had the decency to even clean up the area. For that reason, your experience became a bad one.

South Bimini Bahamas

Great property and great dock space , would be nice to have water to wash boat and dive gear but with cistern water I understand ! With 2 kitchens and 2 refrigerator’s made it nice for the amount of food needed to stay for a week . Kitchen was pretty well equipped but not glass wear .

"Playtime"

We had a great time in Bimini while we were there. House is perfect for people boating over from Florida. We had 2 30ft center consoles 8 people .Plenty of dock space. The only problem I had was there was not water available to rinse off water gear and boats at end of day. We had fresh water wash downs on our boats, so that helped but we quickly ran thru them. So I would recommend filling up your tanks before going to island if you have that option. Other than that. House was perfect for us. Thanks again!

Stay at Playtime South Bimini

Excellent place to stay for a boater. Very clean and property staff stop by to check on you and help when needed. Need the boat to access North Bimini or take the ferry, easier if you have your own boat. Overall, great place to stay.

Great location, Great house

Stayed this past weekend at " playtime ". The house was great. Enjoyed our stay there. The house is at the end of the canal so there is no boat traffic while docked so no worries about other boats creating wake and our boat slamming into the dock. Location is great, very calm and to get to the main island by boat is a short ride. Once out of the canal your there in 5 minutes. Overall had a great experience and will be staying there in any upcoming trip. Amanda was super helpful, answered emails quickly and the owner who happened to pass by one of the days was also very friendly. Thanks for the help

Amazing beautiful place..even better owners

Had an amazing time with the family. The house was perfect with plenty of room for everyone. Had two kitchens with great A/C, Wifi and big dock for the boat. We travel to Bimini at least 10 times a year and will not stay anywhere else again. The owners were beyond friendly and met us at the house. Really great people.

Hi Tim, Thank you for your feedback regarding these issues. My name is Amanda and I am the Property Manager for this vacation rental. First and foremost, I’d like to apologize for your inadequate stay in South Bimini. The owners of the home and I always strive to provide the best service to our guests and hope that we can exceed any and all expectations. However, I can say with certainty, that we did everything possible in order to make your stay as comfortable as can be. In cooperation with the property’s care-taker and a dear family friend who happened to be on the island at the time, we ensured that they would assist you with anything you needed throughout your stay. They were kind enough to show you around the house, take you around South Bimini, and even refill the water tanks for you at no additional cost. Our policy states that guests be mindful when using the water being that the home runs on rainwater/cistern-tanks like almost every home in South Bimini. In addition to that, the beds are brand new and were changed out just before your arrival. The owners of the home also traveled to the home beforehand just to ensure that an outdoor grill was set up for you as requested and verified that everything in the house was functioning as it should be. At that time, no insects were seen inside of the house and no water issues were discovered, but we will be sure to look into this claim for future guests. We would never mislead our guests, as we want them to have as great of an experience as we have had in this home for many years. Again, we thank you for your input and will address your concerns accordingly.

Awesome place!

We loved staying here, beautiful house! We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for all. The dock was more then enough room for both of our 27' open Contenders as well. Both sides were fully furnished and decorated nicely! Got to meet the owners and they made themselves available for any questions we had. The house is at the end of a canal we stayed on last year as well that's close to everything that we come to Bimini for. It's also just a short walk to the beach. Absolutely no complaints! I believe we were one of the first people to rent the house - only suggestions we would add would be to eventually provide a grill and more outdoor seating (the deck gets a perfect breeze in the evenings!) We will be back!

The names says it all - Amazing Spot to stay!!

Our trip got off to a rocky start and after 1 night on North Bimini and we were in need of a place to stay.. Amanda responded quickly to my inquiry and established communication with my wife (we had issues with our phone service). I met with the owner at the south side ferry terminal, who personally showed me to "Playtime" and then around south island.. This duplex is well equipped and has great and protected location for your boat, which is seriously 15 steps from the door.. We used both units since we had 2 couples in our group.. Clean, comfortable, HOT water, cable TV, lots of space, great docking, and you are allowed to use the infinity pool at Bimini Sands Resort. For years I put off staying on South Bimini, I now regret that I did not stay here prior. - Chris

Richard and Eileen have been visiting Bimini for more than 20 years. Their love for the ocean prompted them to buy this quaint vacation home, which they've enjoyed over the years with friends and family. Many memories have been made here, especially with their four children whom frequently accompany them to Bimini to this day. Each of them enjoys their time there being disconnected from their phones and partaking in all the adventurous sites that Bimini has to offer.

South Bimini has a small-town feel, and as avid boaters, its close proximity to Miami was a no-brainer for Richard and Eileen when seeking a getaway spot to escape the hustle-and-bustle of Miami. Everyone is so friendly on the island and the fact that the crystal blue water is just a short walk from the house, is priceless.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

- The house is divided into two spaces so if you're traveling with another couple/family, for example, you'd each have your own bathroom, kitchen, living space, and so on; meaning more privacy and space.
- As a boater, it's always nice to be able to see your boat from wherever you're staying, so having that option is great especially for those who enjoy fishing and bring plenty of equipment with them. The dock is also included in the price and is 100 feet long so it can accommodate 2-3 boats depending on their size.
- The house is centrally located to the ferry dock, marina, airport, beach, and inlet. South Bimini is only 2 miles long so it won't take you very long to get anywhere on the island.
