Paddler's Retreat

Escape to our charming one-bedroom cottage nestled 100 ft behind the main cabin on Rapid River. With a double bed, futon, and fold down couch our cottage sleeps four guests, making it the perfect retreat for couples or small families.

Enjoy the natural beauty of the area and keep an eye out for the abundance of ducks, swans, and other wildlife that call the river home. Use our kayaks or canoe to explore the calm waters that lead to Torch Lake after a quick paddle or bike ride.

Since this is a shared property you might share the front yard picnic tables and dock with members of our family. we usually travel with our dogs so know that there will be animals around the property and family coming and going from the front cabin.

Check with us if you will need boat space at our dock as some weekends will be available and some will not. Guess we'll always have first accessibility to all water toys such as kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle boards and bikes.
