The property is beautiful, the accommodations were perfect for our family and the staff was very welcoming. This trip was our 2nd time staying at Powhatan and we'd stay there again!

Beautifully maintained resort inside and out. The only issue with our townhouse was a piece of loose siding around the back door. The bed and pillows were actually more comfortable than the ones at home. The water pressure in the shower was probably the strongest of any place I've ever stayed. We ended our stay last night playing putt putt at the resort's 18 hole course. My 9 year old granddaughter and her best friend have already asked if we're coming back next year, and I told her, "Absolutely!"

Place was okay. Found a swimsuit and stretch bands on table when we arrived at our unit. Beds barely made and vacuum in the middle of the floor. Pans need upgrading.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The listing was accurate. The unit was clean. The only problem we had was checking in. We live in NJ so we arrived 11:30 ish pm. There was only one staff member and a line of people registering. It took about 1 hour. That was the only difficulty we encountered. I recommend staying at this resort and enjoying this unit.

Short Stay in Berkeley

The host who owns the property was excellent, responsive, and easy to work with. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome as the resort is managed by Hilton and the reservation didn't come up right away because I made the plans through VRBO. When check-in was complete, they sent me over to a salesperson to try and get me to sign on for a promotional extra night and listen to their sales pitch. I don't hold the VRBO host responsible for this, though. :)The space was really nice. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but could really see wanting to stay there for a longer period of time in the future.
