This marvelous bungalow in Santa Rosa Beach is the perfect home base for your trip. Enjoy a beautiful view of the tropical garden with a pond in the quiet yard which attracts many species of birds as well as the occasional turtle & deer! With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a queen bed and a twin bed, along with a well-equipped bathroom, this place has everything you need for a fantastic stay. Enjoy amenities like a kitchenette, WiFi, and a laundry room to make your vacation superb. We think our place will help you experience everything Santa Rosa Beach has to offer. We are Dog friendly!

We stayed for two nights. It was pleasant. There’s a 10-12 minute walk to the beach, and would probably be perfect distance with a golf cart. It is quite small—it’s really a small basement apartment. The kitchen is only a fridge, sink, Keurig, toaster, and microwave. There’s basically no silverware, a couple of plates and cups. It was clean, and we felt safe.

The backyard was our favorite part. It was quiet and peaceful. The main complaint that I have is, she had extra pet instructions to follow after we had reserved our stay one of the things that she asked was to not let the dog go into the bedrooms if I had known that on the front end, I would not have stayed there. But I did exactly what she asked and put our dog crate right outside our door of the bedroom, she whined most of the night. She said that if there were multiple dog hairs in a bedroom, she would charge 100 more tact onto our stay.

Plumbing was not working due to previous tenants so we could not check in at the designated time. We could not get in touch for hours with owner to discuss as they were working. When I was contacted I was given VRBO's number and a case number. Their solution was to have owner refund me the first night stay and find a hotel. My sister and her adult son were staying with me so two hotel rooms would have been needed which a one night refund would not have covered. Being from Indiana, I was not familiar with the area so I would've had to hopefully find a hotel in the general vicinity. Finally, at 11 pm we were able to get into our rental. Details of property did not include an apartment above the bungalow so footsteps were constantly heard. Upon entering the bungalow there was a common area with a washer and dryer that was shared with guest in the upper apartment. The door between the common area and our living area did not have a lock leaving us vulnerable. The utensils included two forks, one knife, two different size spoons and a bottle opener in a pink cup.We were refunded 100 for the first night but only after the owner determined my nephew had taken one of her pillows and left a stained one which was not the case and obviously taken by the previous tenants. And they stated that I was not charged the 75 for the addition of my nephew staying with us which they never mentioned after I honestly emailed them about and did not receive a response. There's more but no space.

Cherie is a fantastic host and made sure everything was laid out for us as to what to expect. My wife and I felt secure, wasn't worried about any theft, beach access was less than 1 mile, centrallly located. The bungalow is actually a tiny house, but believe it or not for a husband and wife of 33 years, it was plenty roomy for what we needed. No complaints whatsoever. As opposed to the commercial that shows Coach Saban and all of his rules, Cherie had what was expected from her guests but it was written in a very professional manner. You take care of the property and leave it like you arrived and I assure you, she will be ecstatic about your visit. We will definitely return. She was a real sweetheart and was easy to talk too.
