Our superb 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury air-conditioned apartment with FREE WIFI and full UK TV package including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and TNT Sports etc is situated on the sea front just 50 metres from the beach in the family resort of Benalmadena Costa. Torreon del Mar Apartments are only 14 Kilometres or 15 minutes by taxi from Malaga Airport therefore car hire is not necessary. The sandy beach of Torrequebrada is just across the road from the Torreon del Mar Apartments, with several shops and restaurants very near by including a large Supercor supermarket with fresh fish, butchery, bakery and vegetable counters plus numerous English food items available. New Lidl Supermartket now open 300m away. In addition there is a large Pharmacy with English speaking assistants just a few steps away from the apartment. There is a bus stop just 40 metres from the apartments with very regular services West to Fuengirola and Marbella and East to Torremolinos & Malaga.
The facilities at Torreon del Mar Apartments in Benalmadena Costa include a large Swimming Pool, (open from 01st June 2026) with extensive sun terrace and free sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs, table tennis, children's playground, basket ball area plus changing area with toilets and showers. Directly in front of the Torreon del Mar apartments there is a typical Spanish Tapas 'La Ruta del Iberico' steak house, bar restaurant serving a great steaks plus wonderful selection of serrano hams, chorizo sausage and a wide variety of Spanish cheeses with numerous beers and wines available. Next door you will find a high standard Spanish Italian restaurant 'Amici' serving Pasta, Steak and Pizza. Amigos Grill has the same owners and offers a fantastic choice of both Mexican and Indian food. The pleasant 'El Caprico de Torrequebrada' restaurant with its large terrace and serving a wide range of reasonably priced Spanish Tapas, fish and meat dishes is located on the corner of Torreon del Mar next to the Pharmacy. For those who just want a coffee, beer, English breakfast or toasted sandwich the El Caprico should hit the spot.

What a fantastic place to spend our little break. The accommodation was just lovely and a real home away from home. Very comfortable beds, lovely big balcony with great views and a great location. Keith and Penny were very welcoming hosts, great with communication and very helpful. We hope to book and come again in the not too distant future. Thank you both, I highly recommend this accommodation.

The apartment is immaculate, spacious perfectly furnished and well equipped. Access however is not easy when you are 76 years old and recovering from heart surgery. Entry is via a steep side road not by the main front doors and through a long corridor with steps. It would have been useful to have been informed of this before booking. There is no reception and I don't know where the photo of the beach bar is taken from. We stayed for 7 days in which time we never saw the hosts or a cleaner. Despite all this we had a fabulous holiday.

Hi Rose Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your stay. We are both very pleased you liked our home in Spain and enjoyed your stay. Sorry you may have misunderstood the map and directions we sent you but they both clearly say the entrance is on the side road. If you had made us aware of your recent heart surgery at the time of booking we could have explained there are two lots of three stairs to enter the apartment after which it is all on one level. Had you said you couldn't manage these we would not have accepted the booking but we were totally unaware. Our home is not a hotel its a private apartment so there is not a reception. During a 07 night stay the housekeeper prepares the apartment for your arrival making it ready (immaculate as you have said) for your stay. The housekeepers are then available via the contact details provided should you need to contact them during your stay. We are very pleased you had a fabulous time and enjoyed your holiday Regards Keith & Penny

The hosts were excellent, communication re apartment and surrounding area was very clear and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable and very clean and well equipped. The sunny balcony was enjoyed throughout our stay.The apartment block was peaceful and quiet.

We had a fabulous stay at Keith and Pennys apartment. We wanted something central and this provided all. The apt is same level as the pool and the beach is minutes walk away where we enjoyed swimming and dining. Easy access to the busier end of town and the Marina is by a v regular bus route. We also used the bus to go up the mountain to Old Town. The accommodation had everything we needed and we had a fantastic week with family. Thank you

We had a great stay at this apartment. Everything was as described and the A/C worked well, though it would be nice to have the option to cool individual rooms rather than the whole apartment. The location next to the communal pool was convenient, but with the windows open it could get a bit noisy at times depending on who was using it. Overall, a very good experience and would happily recommend.

Great apartment

Apartment has everything you need and more for a great holiday. We found the location perfect especially with the bus stops so close if you want to go further. Beaches, supermarket and restraurants all within walking distance. Would recommend.

Had a fantastic stay at this apartment. Apartment is situated in a lovely clean, secure complex with well kept communal areas and pool. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, well furnished and is equipped with everything required for a self catering holiday. Although the apartment’s location is in a quieter area of the resort there are some lovely restaurants practically onsite and a good sized supermarket which was very convenient. There is a bus stop nearby enabling travelling to other areas of the resort or further afield very straightforward. I would happily stay at this apartment again.

Lovely Apartment

A lovely, spacious, comfortable apartment overlooking the pool, with a balcony to enjoy the sunshine when relaxing with a drink or 2. Restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance, offering a good variety.

Our apartment has a fantastic location just across the road from the beach, with a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants plus a pharmacy and excellent supermarket just steps away. Thats not to mention our south facing terrace that over looks the swimming pool and gets the sun all day
