The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. My boyfriend and I travelled up to Buckhead for a concert in the area and were able to have a relaxing time :)

Charming Carriage House

The Carriage House was a wonderful stay! Gorgeous quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed long walks through the peaceful neighborhood. House is very roomy for 2 people and private. Greg was a great host and very responsive to anything that I needed.

When we arrived, the trash was half full, the kitchenette sink was splattered and grime-y, the bathroom had hair in the sink shower and toilet and toothpaste splatter on the faucet. The toilet bowl had not been cleaned and there was leaf litter on the floor. Also the internet was unresponsive so our phones had difficulty getting anything but a weak cell signal. We could not get the TV to have enough signal to stream our home services and no channels we offered otherwise. When I shared this with the owner, he said he was surprised because he had cleaned the place himself and that the internet worked just fine for the last guest. This property is in a great location. However if you choose it, please be aware that the stairs to the bedroom upstairs have no handrail and have uneven riser heights making it very easy for even very agile people to trip. The lighting downstairs is very poor as well making th living room area dark and unsuitable for doing. Anything other than TV watching if you can get it working. The signal is weak but we finally did get it working on our 3rd & last night after the owner reset the router. This was not a good experience for us.

Charming Carriage House

We had a fantastic time! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, from Starbucks to some wonderful restaurants. We especially loved the paella at La Fonda Latina.Well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared by our hosts. While we mainly used just the fridge, the kitchen had everything you’d need. There were plenty of extras—if we hadn’t brought our own, we would’ve been completely covered.The linens and towels were plentiful & a spacious walk-in closet. There was a smart TV downstairs, but Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in that area (though it worked well upstairs). We did wish there was a smart TV upstairs since we’re not big on DVDs, so if you're planning to stream, we recommend bringing a Chromecast or Roku.The outdoor balcony was absolutely lovely, surrounded by flowers and greenery. We spent time just relaxing there, listening to birds and chipmunks. Just below, there’s a Jacuzzi. We considered taking a dip, but it wasn’t filled. We're confident the host would have gladly filled it if we had asked.The neighborhood was stunning, with beautiful homes, manicured lawns, and a safe atmosphere. There was plenty of parking for us and for family who visited during our stay.We enjoyed a concert at the Synovus Bank Amphitheater and had a blast at Mastermind Escape Rooms—both within 15 minutes or less.All in all, this was a wonderful, cozy place—perfect for two. Highly recommend!

I stayed recently with a friend for a long weekend. We really appreciated the full kitchen so we did not have to dine out constantly. The neighborhood was beautiful and in a great location.
