Aspectos positivos: Llegada y ubicación
The location is beautiful and the cabin is modern. The only negative is there is no storage. What to do with your luggage? There is no closet for hanging clothes, etc. Basically end up storing it in the rental car. Can't imagine what 4 people would do? As for seating there is the one and only chair. Additional people would have to climb onto the bed. There were some maintenance issues that were never taken care of from what we could tell. The air conditioner never worked nor the fan setting to circulate air throughout the unit. (note: We only needed this the first day to air out the cabin.) Only the heat setting worked. The issue with the bathroom was met with an apology. We found no information in the cabin concerning how to access the room where our freezer was located. We had to reach out to obtain. There were no bean bags for the corn hole game. The fire pits had not been cleaned out for some time. The one we choose to use was full of burnt beer cans. If there had be a shovel we would have done this on our own to allow the air flow to work properly. There are no steak knifes just one paring knife in the kitchen. The fishing docks are OK but hard to fish from. Vegetation creates interesting hazards in casting and bringing back your hook to "flick" again. When you come back from a day of fishing you have no place to store your boots/waders and poles. You are asked to leave them outside. (secured?) I do not feel I got my money worth from this booking.
