House overall was very nice. The living room carpet was not vacuumed when we arrived and there was no functioning vacuum to clean it myself, so we had a dirty carpet for our stay. We had dirty socks after walking through the house after an hour, so washed the floors as well. The living room sofa was missing a cushion and was not comfortable. The house could use more shade around the pool. The umbrella provided had to be rigged to get it to stand up. The decor is very nice, the lake out back had plenty of wildlife that we enjoyed watching, the washer dryer units were very nice, kitchen equipment was adequate. Plenty of drink ware, beds were pretty comfortable, appreciated the cleanliness of the towels. Bathrooms were clean and very nice, although i can agree with other reviews that stated if there were more people, there would have to be concessions made for bathroom schedules. Overall we were very happy with the property itself. we have stayed at other properties in the area, as Destin has been our family vacation for years, and at this price point there is usually a golf cart and other amenities that were included, so, we probably would chose another property next time. Lovely house.
