This was our 2nd stay here. Such a lovely, peacful location. Very clean and just what you need for a relaxing stay following a day of adventure. We love having a kitchen to prepare food and the ability to wash clothing to cut down on needed packing.

This place is fabulous! You feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by majestic rock formations, when you are just 3 miles from town and the town of Escalante is delightful. It’s a great base to see our beautiful parks in Utah and the casita is perfect for relaxing after a long day.

The Casita was the perfect home-away-from-home. It was perfectly clean and had all the required items and more. Host even thoughtfully provided some snacks, which came in handy several mornings when we just wanted to hit the trail without a drive to the store. The towels, bedding, and furnishing were by far nicer than any other VRBO we have stayed in. We are so happy we decided to stay at the Casita, and we will definitely revisit if we make our way back to Escalante.

This is hands down the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. It was sparkling clean and had the personal touches of a home—you can tell Brett went the extra mile to make this a phenomenal experience. Looking up at the sun hitting the mountains from the outdoor shower was a favorite! Beds are comfortable, space is cozy and well equipped with any amenity you might need, including Brett’s hand made pottery! It’s a little down the road from the main strip of Escalante but we enjoyed being in the quiet. My husband also enjoyed chatting with Brett who shared some great local tips. We’d come back here any day.

This was a great place to stay while we explored Escalante! Everything at the casita was so nice, we loved the crocs they provided to wear inside, the beautiful homemade pottery, and watching the sunrise and sunsets from a quiet place in the desert!

Excellent location to Bryce and Hole in the Rock Rd. ! The stars were amazing, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed during the winter. Will definitely stay here again when the weather calls for it!

Fantastic casita. Beautifully appointed in a spectacular location. We had a wonderful few days in this region which is a little remote but definitely worthwhile visiting. The actual town of Escalante is a few miles up the road and is a small, 800 person town. There are various eateries and coffee places scattered around. The casita is off highway 12 which is a wonderful road to drive with many spectacular views. All in all, we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this beautiful casita.

We loved our stay here! So clean and had everything we needed. Plus the property felt so serene. The host was super responsive and even had crocs we could wear inside. We will definitely stay here again on our next Escalante adventure.
