Ubicación, ubicación, ubicación mejor define a este hotel de montaña espaciosa. Situado en la base de Hunter Mountain se sienta muy bella, casa hecha a la medida, a diferencia de cualquier otro en la zona. Ubicado en el bosque en la base de la montaña de Hunter, este acogedor hogar es el equilibrio perfecto entre la comodidad y la serenidad. Desde la puerta de atrás hay sólo un minuto a pie por un camino por el bosque escénico antes de estar en el estacionamiento de base casa de campo. Gran acceso para los esquiadores o los asistentes al festival de verano.
Obras de fuego se muestran con frecuencia durante los meses de invierno y periodos de vacaciones. Se puede ver estos desde la comodidad de nuestra casa desde la sala de estar. En la noche disfrute de los incendios en el pozo de fuego mientras está sentado en la terraza de atrás, donde no hay otras casas son visibles.

Una variedad de restaurantes, tiendas de conveniencia, tiendas de libros, galería de arte y sala de cine son un paseo o un corto trayecto en coche.

La casa en sí es amplio y abierto. Es ideal para un viaje de esquí en familia o con amigos o simplemente relajarse junto a la chimenea en la sala de estar o asar malvaviscos y bastones por el pozo de fuego al aire libre.

El nivel de entrada tiene una gran sala de barro para almacenar los esquís, botas y todo su equipo, además de una lavadora y secadora. Tiene un hermoso baño por pedido completo, TV por cable y un sofá cama-nido de 2 plazas.

En la segunda planta, la planta principal, es amplio y luminoso con una cocina moderna totalmente actualizada y surtido. El comedor tiene capacidad para 8-10.
El salón contiguo tiene de pared a pared de ventanas en la ladera de la montaña que ofrecen una gran cantidad de luz solar y excelentes vistas de la montaña. Hay un televisor de pantalla plana con cable y reproductor de DVD / VHS.
En el otro lado de la sala de estar es una hermosa chimenea de piedra. La madera es siempre para usted. Usted puede ver los fuegos artificiales de vacaciones Hunter Mtn mientras se relaja en el sofá delante de la chimenea. Hay una gran cubierta fuera de la sala de estar con una fogata al aire libre.

Perfect Trip

This trip went about as perfect as possible! I went to stay for 2 nights with some friends to ski at hunter mountain. Leslie was great at communicating her expectations for us during our stay and everything matched the listing. Additionally, Leslie was very flexible with our check in and out times which made our stay stress-free! We had a lot of fun and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future! Thanks Leslie!!

Perfect in every way

My husband and I and our three teenagers stayed at this lovely house for a quick ski trip last week. We loved the privacy of the house, the layout of the rooms, and the closeness to the mountain. A huge plus was the entry level laundry room, which had plenty of space for everyone to get all their ski ski gear on and then store all the equipment at the end of the day.My teens appreciated that there were three bathrooms . The kitchen is very well stocked, and we saved money by eating in every meal. Our host was extremely helpful and got back to us almost immediately with any need. Would highly recommend staying here for a Hunter mountain vacation.

This home is in such a good location, is perfect for a big group of people and has all the essentials! Leslie also couldnt have been a better host. Such a great communicator and was so helpful and sweet! Will definitely go back for our next ski trip!

Great ski weekend! Perfect location to walk to the slopes. Loved the cozy fireplace and the wood supply! Kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, pots, cleaning supplies, etc. Coffee and tea were also provided as well as small toiletries in the bathroom. Overall, a great stay! One of the stairs is a little loose and a couple of cobwebs here and there. Communication with host was very good. Also perfect entry area with bench to put skis, coats, boots on. Would definitely stay again.

St Paddys Day Ski weekend

Thankfully there was a big snowfall just prior to our arrival. The skiing was very good for mid-March. The house was very nice. There were no issues with the beds, which for me is a top priority. The kitchen was well equipped, it is dated but in good shape, new fridge, everything worked well. The bathrooms were clean and have recent upgrades. There was a game room with foosball, which was fun. The mud room was perfect for gear drying and storage, new washer and dryer right there too. The driveway could be a challenge for some if you don't have, for the snowy weather, all wheel or 4-wheel drive. We had All wheel and 4 wheel and one front wheel drive, and we managed OK. It was plowed and cindered but it is a switch back and requires some parking organization for multiple cars. There was some salt I could spread in the morning after a thaw and freeze, so it all worked out. The walk to the lodge was through some deep snow approximately 100 ft through woods, across a road, up a snaow bank, and across two parking lots. I didn't do it but the young athletes in the group were fine. But kids needed drop off, which was very close. like 3 minutes. That goes back to the car organizing topic, you have to plan ahead a little. But we were fine with all of it, however I only mention because it could be a challenge for some who are driving challenged or timid on a hills or from....Florida?. Good spot, worked well for our large group.

Great family gathering place

This is a great home located close to the slopes at Hunter Mountain. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend skiing! There is a well stocked kitchen for home cooking and entertaining. We especially loved the wood burning fireplace for fun evenings playing cards and games. Very responsive and helpful owner when needs arose. We would stay again!

Great Ski House

We just came back from our second stay at Leslie's place for President's Day Weekend! It's the perfect ski house and our family loves how cozy it is and conveniently located it is to the Hunter Mountain slopes. Leslie is wonderful to communicate with and the most gracious host. The house has always been immaculate and she keeps it so well stocked with linens, towels and cleaning supplies. Look forward to our next stay.

Good location to slopes

Leslie, the property owner, was great with communication. House was nicely situated with a short walk up through the back yard to easily get to Hunter Mountain ski resort. Stocked with plenty of fire wood to keep the fire burning keeping us all cozy and warm.

Incredible place walking distance from Hunter Mtn!

Our group of 8 had an incredible time at Leslie's place. Great communication, walking distance to the mountain, and plenty of wood for the family room fireplace :) The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with utensils/serving materials and felt like it was a place that had been used and loved rather than a place meant for rentals. Would highly recommend for a group or family trip.

There was plenty of room for 7 of us to eat and relax together. And the fireplace really took the chill out of late-April snow. The path from the back of the house made the walk to the mountain as easy as possible.

Lovely house. Bigger than the pictures or view from the street let on.

Had an excellent time with a group of 8 at this house. Very spacious with adequate sleeping arrangements, large kitchen for feeding everyone, and cozy fireplaces and fire pit. From booking through departure the whole process was very easy.

Beautiful Holiday Weekend in the Mountains!

This is my second review as we stayed at Leslie's over the holiday weekend last year as well. Despite the frigid temperatures, Leslie's beautiful home was warm, cozy and a wonderful retreat from the cold! We never had to leave the house! We absolutely loved the fireplace and had it burning all weekend. It was the perfect amount of room for 8 adults. We were all very comfortable. Again, we loved the proximity to the lodge and Hunter Mountain especially because this year was below freezing temps! Leslie provides coffee, tea, all toiletries etc, which is a great service. Lori, Leslie's housekeeper, was very helpful upon our arrival and was available during our stay with any questions we had. I would recommend this home to anyone! Leslie is lovely to work with and very responsive. I look forward to returning next year!

Beautiful house, clean and right on the mountain

From the first interaction with the owner, to the welcome at the front door, to the follow up thank you from the owner...it was a perfect house to relax with my friends and family over the long weekend. Another great time!

This is a custom built home, like no other in the area. It is one of the premier homes in Hunter Mountain. It sits at the base of the ski mountain and is a short walk to the slopes. The home is both spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. You can walk to nearby restaurants, bars and clubs. Other restaurants, bars and clubs are just a few minute drive away.
Fire Works are frequently displayed during winter months and holiday time periods. You can see these from the comfort of our home right from the living room.
