Located in Bayshore, 15 minutes from Newport on a 7 mile long beach, this well appointed home will provide the perfect setting to relaxing and enjoying your time away. There are literally views from every room, every window. Looking out the front you have a great view of the Alsea Bay and the Alsea Bay Bridge.

The lockbox is located on the back of the 4x4 closest to the front door. The code is 3456. Wifi password is inside in the livingroom on a plaque.

Fantastic! Great location with sort walk right to the beach and we could see and hear the ocean from the house. For our party of 10 we had plenty of room. It was clean, well stocked, and even had a great "playroom." Checkin was easy as was making the reservation. Will definately go back to this home.

Great house and location

This house is right on the beach and has views of both the ocean and Alsea bay bridge. It is between Newport and Yachats so easy to access both areas. The house is great and well stocked. The kids enjoyed the playroom. The house is larger than listed. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs.

Just what I needed!

So relaxing. House was clean beautiful and offered the comforts of home. Like blankets for the couch. Watched the Duck game on the big screen in the game room. Loved it.

Beach living

This property is beautiful and comfortable. All beds were comfortable,the house was warm and had an air purifier showers worked well and the backyard was a dream come true. Being able to step right out onto the beach and walk down the grass covered dunes and onto a serene beach was just plain fabulous.

Family vacay

We had family visiting from Idaho so we made the trek to Waldport for a long weekend with them. They stayed in a house 2 doors down so each family had their own space. We had so much fun crabbing, fishing and laughing together. We all slept like babies in the comfortable beds. The house was super welcoming and had a fabulous location. The top rack was missing in the dishwasher so we ate/cooked most of our meals together as a group at the other house so handwashing dishes was kept at a minimum. Not a big deal as we wanted as much time with our Idaho family as possible.would definitely stay here again!

This house is perfect for our family getaway. Right on the beach and the beach is never crowded. Close to stores and 20 minutes south of Newport. It has become our family’s favorite for years.

Relaxing getaway

Disability

I'm disabled and had trouble showering as there was no shower on the first floor. Also, it was hard to get in and out of the house due to the steep driveway. The game room was really fun. Couldn't attach the table tennis net though. The automatic vacuum that came on in the middle of the night was scary and annoying. Light bulbs need to be replaced in the dining room. Loved the view. My family had a wonderful time!!

Fun for all ages

Nice rooms, 2 faced the ocean, the other two had views of the bridge. The game room was awesome. Short path to the beach. We didn’t use the fire pit but there is one. There is a mini mart at the entrance to the neighborhood, but a proper grocery store (Rays) in Waldport. Wood bundles were available at the mini mart. Would stay here again!

The property was great. Right on the beach. Had several games and a nice game room. The hosts responded quickly and were great to work with.

Mix up

The property we were supposed to stay at was double booked and the other people were already there when we arrived. Luckily the owner had another property a couple doors down and it wasn’t booked for the weekend so we stayed there. It was a little larger and had comparable amenities so it worked out. The only other issue? was the driveway was heavily sanded in and parking was limited because of it. (Luckily we had all wheel drive vehicles. I’m not sure a small car could have made it up the driveway) The patio was sanded in too. I’m not sure if they plow the driveways before people show up or of it’s always that way since these houses were built on the sand It was still good though and the kids had a great time in the game room. It was perfect for the wet and windy weekend weather.

Beautiful Beach getaway

If you are wanting to get as close to the beach as you can, this is the place! It was exactly what we were looking for. The location is great, it was right between all the sights we wanted to see. We played pool in the game room for hours, watched the waves from the back windows and enjoyed little walks down to the beach as we pleased! The beds were so comfortable in all the rooms we used (we had two rooms that we didn’t end up using). Going to the beach was an easy walk the wind does blow the sand right up to the door. So it does get sandy, but we just washed off the back stoop so we could get in and out with less sand and kept the broom close, very easy. Like I said it IS right on the beach over all we had a great time. Our kids loved it, the grandparents loved it and we loved it. We will be back again next year!

We'll Be Back

This was the perfect location for our family. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, game room, laundry room and right on the beach. The house was very clean and well maintained. John was very easy to work with and truly wanted our stay to be memerable. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and other areas of the house. Lovely home!

35 years of friendship

We rented this wonderful home for 7 adults coming from all over Oregon Washington to celebrate 35 years of friendship. The home and location couldn't have been better. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Beautiful Home & Location

The home was very comfortable & well suited for our family. Having one bedroom & half bath on the main level was perfect. The remaining 4 bdrms, 2 bathrooms are upstairs. The beds were very comfy! Nice towels and soaps in the bathrooms. A good sized, functional laundry room on second floor with plenty of soap and laundry basket was nice. Downstairs we had the rec room with large TV, however with the ocean right out the back door we seldom used this. Rather we found the open kitchen/dining/living area to be our regular hang out when not at. It never felt crowded for our group of 9.The home was tastefully decorated and games and puzzles provided (though we had brought our own). The only negatives (very slight and really can't complain)- Though the kitchen had most utensils to meet your needs organization was lacking and took awhile to find some things. Also there was no plastic wrap/foil/paper towels or napkins. A quick run to the store supplied those things and we left behind, so hopefully the following renters will continue to keep those in supply for the next group. The last thing is the dishwasher was full of dirty, stinky dishes when we checked in, however I am sure this was just an oversight by the cleaners. We had such a great experience I almost hate to mention these little things but I appreciate a detailed review. Overall we LOVED this place and convenience to the ocean. I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful view, nice patio out back and enjoyed the firepit.

Newer house, great location!

Fit two families comfortably. Can’t beat the location and view! House was clean and up to date. Really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend. The only complaint I have was the kitchen didn’t have any plastic storage/sandwich bags and no large kitchen garbage bags. Loved our time. Thank you!
