Wonderful Vacation

Our family rented the entire building and we were very pleased with the property. Everyone was able to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchens were well stocked. The beach is an easy walk across the street. Great water views from both units.

Terrific on Tybee!

The side-by-side house/ condo was beautiful, very updated, and large! It held our party of 15 quite nicely and everyone slept well and had their own space. Thank you! We will be back!

Family vacation

The property was a perfect fit for a large family vacation. The location was very convenient. We were in walking distance to the beach, stores, and ice cream shop. Just a little disappointed with the cleanliness of things. The bathroom base boards were dirty, the living room windows have green algae growing on them, very dusty in a lot of places. It was a great town to vacation in.

1st Annual Alvina Poe Family Gathering

I rented both 203 A & B. There was enough sleeping space for everyone. The kids loved the pool and the older people loved the elevator. The AC worked very well. I would rent this VRBO against. I highly recommend it for large families or friends get away.

Excellent location and lots of room as rented both units. Pool was also great. However the elevator in Unit B was not functioning for a majority of the stay, which impacted the older family members who stayed on that side. And when they finally got it running could only have one person at a time in the cab

Our family enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with the pool and the oven. Both problems were resolved with the property manager. We did not feel safe in the elevator and refrained from using it. Thank you!!

Good stay with a couple hospitality needs.

Property very nice. Did not have a mop in either unit. Made it hard with kids. Our feet were filthy as I think the wood floors need a good scrubbing as well as the living area rugs. Not enough bath towels. Should have two sets of two in each bathroom. Wound be excellent if there was some type of entry between units without going outside. Very close to the beach which was great.

Close to Beach Unit needs a deep clean & Updating

The units are in severe need of a deep clean. I don't think the floors have been properly swept and mopped in a long time. Socks turned black immediately upon walking on the floors.Garage doors did not work for either unit. Doors had to be propped open. Doors had to remain open the entire trip.Stove did not work in either unit.Laminate on kitchen cabinets was peeling. There were random electrical wires sticking out of a whole in the area with washer and dryer with a random note that said wires not hot. In both units.Patio furniture on the second floor was in really bad shape rusted and corroded so bad there was debris on the floor where the tables and chairs were basically disintegrating.There is not a pass-through door between the units even on the patios. If you wanted to go to the other unit you would need to go outside and around the side to get to the second unit. Not great if it's raining. Adding a pass-through door on the 3rd floor patio would be the best resolution and most economical as that is the floor with living room and kitchen for both units.Lighting at night walking up the steps to the entrance door was practically nonexistent. Needed to use phone flashlights at night to avoid falling down the steps.There is a lack of pots, pans and utensils in both units.Third floor of both units were extremely hot it was clear the ac was not working as well on the 3rd floor.Unit was very close to the beach and could easily walk.

Great family vacation!

We rented both units for a family vacation for the last week of June 2022. When I booked in September 2021, the property was advertised for up to 21 people; we reserved for 19. Subsequently, the town reduced maximum capacity to 14. However, we were not notified of the change. I noticed the change in April and contacted property management to inquire and was just told to keep a low profile to avoid problems (!?) As it worked out, we only had 15 people by the time we arrived. The units had represented that each unit had 3 kings, 1 queen, and 1 single bed. When we arrived there was not a single bed in either unit, leaving us 2 beds short. I contacted the management company and they provided 2 portable beds; we made that work. We stayed in the main suite in Unit A, so the following relates to that unit. Positives: the location was great! Short walk to the beach and restaurants; the common area was very large and served well for our whole group to congregate; we found our bed to be very comfortable; the swimming pool was an added benefit; Unit A had a working elevator (the one in Unit B was being repaired), which was great since my husband and I are in our mid-70s and there were 3 levels to each unit; there was plenty of parking. Negatives: the units were a bit tired and in need of updating; there was lots of stuff in the kitchen, but only 2 dish towels, no hot pads, one small spatula; the doors to the porch on the main level were very difficult to open and close; there is no door giving access from Unit A to Unit B, requiring going all the way to the ground level to access the other unit; in the main bedroom, the drapes were almost impossible to open and the hem was nearly completely out of a section of the drapes; the large closet was full of junk, leaving very little room for clothing -- and only 4 hangers; the bathroom was very large, but out of date --- and no door; the tile grout was in need of a good cleaning. Our family had a wonderful time on Tybee Island and found the location to be perfect. However, for the amount of money charged we expected a nicer interior.

Tybee Island Framily Vacation

The property was in a perfect location. Both units were very hot and I felt they should have been cooled down for the arrival of guest. The beach is literally across the street which is amazing. Maintenance was supposed to fix things prior from the previous clients and they were trying to come during our stay to fix those concerns. It was a enormous roach in the bathroom. Lol I took off running. lol The elevator in one unit worked but I paid for both units so it was an inconvenience.

Best family beach week ever

The house and pool were wonderful. We were a half block from the crosswalk to the beach access. The beach was wonderful with the kids finding starfish and sand dollars (all left in the water). We were lucky to have green flag water almost every day. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there and the grounds maintenance crew also came by. The a/c filters needed to be changed. All the kids enjoyed both the beach and the pool. This was our second year renting this property. We will probably rent it again next year as it has so many king size beds and six full bathrooms with two half baths to accommodate our extended family.

Closer to beach than we thought. Everything went great. First time to Tybee. If had one suggestion would be to have a door between units on top floor balcony. Great pool. Great vacation!!!!!!!

Girl's Weekend

This was a very affordable place to stay especially when you are with a large group! It was an easy walk to the beach and if we had any issues with key locks they responded immediately and helped us. Highly recommend it!

Location good but VERY dirty

Both units were extremely dirty when we arrived. Baseboards, windowsills and floors were filthy , there was a poop mark in one toilet and one unit had dirty linens on washing machine. . I don’t think baseboards had been cleaned in months. Stairwells and baseboards had loose dirt and hair on them in addition to caked on dust. I called management company and they sent someone out within 15 minutes . She wiped boards down in main area and stairwell but not the bedrooms or bathrooms. I walked around with no shoes on and the bottom my feet were black. The carpet in bedrooms was disgusting and covered in stains. We also had to wash some the dishes and utensils because they weren’t clean. The place is really cute so it was unfortunate it was not being properly cleaned.

Great weekend stay

My Family had a great time. We had more than enough space for everyone. It's a very short walk from the beach. All the Amenities offered were great. We were close to everything. I will definitely rent this place again.

excellent getaway

I was pleasantly surprised with the new color on the outside. It is stunning. The accommodations were excellent , the parking excellent, location excellent. It was clean except the carpets could have used a cleaning. However, as a rental it was what I would expect. I don't know how you could find anything on the island like it. So close to beach, swimming pool, decks and decorated so cute. Our stay for our 50th Anniversary with our 4 children and spouses, 9 grandchildren could not have been better.

Great home for our reunion!

We had more than enough room for all 16 of us ! the townhouses were nicely furnished and well kept. We were close to everything. We loved having the pool and a view of the ocean our beds were comfortable we really have no complaints but one We all agreed if we had one small suggestion to the owner it would be to add a door on the top balcony that could be locked from both sides for families sharing space. We all found it a to go three flights down and three flights up when we need something or forgot something. But the elevators helped!

The property was everything the 8 of us could hope for !

203 Butler was clean and had all the amenities we needed. If we had known before hand how comfortable the house was we would have invited at least 2 other couples to join us. The staff at Tybee Beach could not have been more accommodating during check-in, check-out and for the requests we made in between. We have no problem highly recommending it in the future and we hope at some point to return. Special thanks to Linda.................

Well stocked duplex close to the beach

Check-in and check-out was easy, and the house was ready well in advance of the quoted check-in time, which was a nice surprise. The rental group was also nice about giving us an hour for late check-out. We stayed in both sides of the complex (great for a large group), and found both to be well-kept, clean, and sufficiently stocked with kitchen items, bath towels, and linens. The beach is just across the street, so it's an easy walk. I definitely would recommend booking this property, especially if you have a large group.
