This home is absolutely amazing. I loved it so much that I ended up staying for four months. I only planned on staying two months. Andy and the property managers were very quick to reply and help with any questions I had. The area is beautiful. The view in the backyard is amazing. There is a place up top the house to sit and look at the beautiful mountains and the scenery around. I love this place so much that I’m hoping to go there every year. The home is filled with light. It was the perfect place for me to have some of my own quiet time. Thank you Andy and Monika for an amazing home to stay in.

Fabulous place to stay!

This home was exactly as described. Beautiful , clean - GREAT location! We were there for the Ironman 70.3 so location was perfect for the race and far enough away after the race to decompress. Our hosts were fabulous and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend

Totally relaxing weekend and the house was a great accommodation. Totally clean and well equipped for a great time. Location is close Hurricane and St George for all of the great activities available. We had a great time there.

Because the house is located within Sand Hollow Resort we are required to have all of our guests check-in at the Resort Clubhouse as was noted in the documents provided prior to your arrival. This happens to be a city ordinance to maintain the security and protection of all guests A recent guest actually commented on this by stating "Check in/out was so fast and it's really turn-key simple and everything about this property is very well thought out."

Everything we hoped for & more!

My family and a couple friends had a wonderful stay at this home. Location is amazing and the home was fully equipped with anything we needed. We stayed eight nights and never ran out of things to do. The owner is extremely accommodating as well!

Beautiful views with all the amentities

Second time staying at "Chaco Retreat" and it felt like home. Such a nice comfortable place with lots to do. We golfed, enjoyed music at the Clubhouse and great time ATVing. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful home

My family stayed six nights at the Chaco retreat and visited Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. The location was wonderful and the home is beautiful. It’s located in the Sand Hollow Resort which was extremely quiet and centrally located. I would definitely recommend this home.

Nice Getaway

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was great, only downside was we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy it all. This is a great location close to things but quiet and private. Communication with the owners was great! We would definitely recommend this rental and would love to come back again.

Great place with great views!

We really enjoyed this house. It was clean, well stocked, decorated nicely with great views! We had family and friends camping at Sand Hollow and this place made it so convenient to just ride over in our Razor to their camp and join in on the festivities. Also check in and check out were so easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Girls Weekend!

The house was very clean and well appointed, stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms - it was lovely that it even had toilet paper and hand soap! Close to national parks and the super Walmart! Great for our girls weekend!!

Wonderful Retreat

Host's were Awesome and very accommodating. Home was Beautiful. Very clean, gorgeous views from every window, and morning sunshine in kitchen and living room. Rooftop area was very comfortable with more wonderful views Took beautiful walks to Sand Hallow State Park and around Sand Hallow Retreat We would highly recommend and stay there again

Great week in Hurricacane

Chose this house, because of the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. Great location for St George and Zion NP, plus views from the the backyard were fantastic. House was clean, well appointed and had a grill that we used several times. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful

We stayed for 3 nights in this comfortable, well decorated home. Enjoyed the view. We did a UTV adventure right near the property and spent 2 days in Zion (hike the narrows if you get a chance, just rent gear). Everything was clean and there was everything we could need for our stay.

So glad you took the opportunity to rent a UTV near the property ( units available at the clubhouse or at the reservoir ) truly make it so convenient to head right up to the dunes. Heavenly home away from home

We can not say enough good about this property. If we could give more than five stars we would. The home was definitely all that was promised and more and Andy and Monika are hosts that go beyond what you could ask for. We hope to return someday.

Wonderful Time at Chaco Retreat

We stayed at the “Chaco Retreat” between Christmas and New Years. The pictures on the website are exactly as you see, the house is beautiful, the amenities are great, and it’s very clean and comfortable. Andy is a fabulous owner who is attentive to details. He made sure our stay was excellent. We look forward to visiting Hurricane again and staying in this lovely home!

Presently living in the Idaho panhandle, my wife and I have enjoyed over 46 glorious years of marriage, treasuring the experiences we've shared together. As parents to a wonderful son, we now get to enjoy the benefits of being grandparents! When it comes to vacations and getaways, we both love to travel and enjoy seeking out new and exciting places.

Prior to 2025, our home was listed for 15 years as a nightly rental on both VRBO & Airbnb with 113 and 53 'exceptional' ratings accordingly. However, we decided to change to a monthly rental to allow for longer stays in our beautiful home.

We both have a love for the desert southwest, particularly the breathtaking red sand sculptures and amazing rock formations found in southern Utah!

So as to enjoy more frequent visits to this beautiful area we decided to build back in 2010. Our decision on the exact location was based on the fact that we are within walking distance to a desert oasis ( Sand Hollow Reservoir ), beautiful red sand dunes for ATVing / motor or dirt biking, and reside within Sand Hollow Resort, which includes year-round golf! The home and location provides a 'get-away' from the Northwest's long, wet and cold winters but also for others to enjoy and experience God's gift of nature! Once you visit the "Chaco Retreat" we are sure you will understand why we made this choice.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Ideally it's has a smaller footprint than most homes within the resort, which means overall less cleaning. It also means that you have more outdoor space to enjoy, especially in the backyard. The home also includes the added bonus of having a roof-top deck. Landscaping service is also included so there is no mowing, trimming or watering required.
