Originally built in 1868 the McBride house is a Picturesque Historic Garden Valley farmhouse that takes you back in time.

Enjoyed by so many families over the years and for the first time being extended to many more this property covers 4 acre that include the main home, the cottage in the back, and loft above the garage with great views and hot tub (could be a private honeymoon suite for a wedding).

The property includes McBride creek and a playground surrounded by the beautiful Boise National Forest. The entire property includes 9 bedrooms, Sleeping 29 total, including 5 queen beds, 2 full beds, 3 bunk beds, 7 twin beds and a futon. Includes 7.5 bathrooms & 3 kitchens! Guests will find their stay here both enjoyable and pleasant. Whether you're looking to relax in the cozy living spaces or explore the beautiful surroundings, this property offers the perfect retreat for your getaway. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place. Plenty of space for parking vehicles and trailers.

Relax and enjoy this renovated Historic home - "Oldest home in Garden Valley", Perfect place to gather with family and friends. Spend your days hiking or fishing and exploring the hidden treasures of the Boise National Forest, ATV right from your home, Visit Terrace lakes Hot springs and Golf resort a mile away or many other natural hot springs in the area.

Float down the lazy Middlefork River just down the road, in tubes, to Weilmunster park or brave an adventure kayaking or white water rafting down the Payette just a few miles away. Enjoy the unique little town of Crouch 3 miles away with its shopping, restaurants and night life activity, including the Starlight Mountain Theatre.

In the winter try snowmobiling to Silver Creek Plunge or tubing and
hot springs at Terrace Lakes. Join together for a delicious meal in the expansive kitchen and dining area in the main house or separately in 3 individual kitchens. A wonderful place to Relax and launch all your activities from to create lasting memories.

Our family was extremely happy with our weekend experience at the McBride farm! The property was just as advertised and fully of many special surprises and unique amenities. This was a great venue for multiple families that afforded a grand mix of places for "togetherness" as well as space for individuals needing "recharge." The grounds were perfect for entertaining kids of all ages. The area is incredibly scenic and relaxing. Our host made it easy to execute a lovely family reunion.

Summer group

We had a blast and utilized all 3 homes for our 10 yr anniversary. Plenty of space, big main kitchen plus the ability to use all refrigerators. Almost all bedrooms have a bathroom so that was a great plus side for all 7 couples. Floated the river down the road and played a round of golf at the local course- great spots. Would stay again

I was happy with the stay. We had 2 families totaling 9 adults and 1 baby. The main house was in the best shape. We all had a really good time together! The main house was very nicely and uniquely decorated with antiques and modern touches. It was fully stocked with iron, ironing board, washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven, large kitchen table and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and had lots of room. We did have a rust in water issue and just bought bottled water as a work around. I slept in the downstairs master bedroom and it was very comfortable. There were carpet nails in the downstairs master bedroom closet, which I put the bath mat on and that fixed the problem and fortunately I have had a tetanus shot. The sink was in a lovely antique drawer, but drawers were not useable which was not noted and the second drawer face broke a couple times. Once by my 16 month old granddaughter. No one was hurt.The other units were not as polished as the main house. But my understanding is that those who slept in those units said it was comfortable. The jacuzzi was not in shape to use as had a very strong chlorine smell and the water looked greenish. Some question as to whether the unit was usable so decided not to use.
