Ms. Penny arrived & she is correct the fan quit working about one hour later--according to her. I sent my caretaker immediately. Penny forgot to mention he was there in less than 5 minutes. The fan couldn't be fixed so he brought her 2 large box fans. We ordered a new fan - same day and it has been installed. We are located at 8400'. The temperature when Ms. Penny complained was 51 degrees. There is never a temperature issue here-due to the altitude- and she admits she didn't have one either. She stayed 4 days. She never complained again. I am on-site right now. I am the owner. She told me everything else was fine and her husband loved the fly fishing right outside his door. She did say she prefers a Ritz Carlton and Spa to fly fishing, but said they were headed to the Four Seasons next. Everything was spotless clean, as always. When I inspected the cabin before her arrival(I come in after the 4th of July to run checks on my cabins and staff), it was just perfect. Macy is a very detailed cleaner. They did get the rug in the bathroom really dirty from the river mud, but we are used to that. Then she took a picture of the dirtied rug on her last day and asked for a full refund. UUGGHH. Yet she can afford the Four Seasons? This cabin--Tracee's cabin/#2 (named after me) is my favorite. You don't hear any road noise. It's at least 2-3 football fields from the road and the road is only 2 lanes and deserted at night. Ms. Penny can stay elsewhere next time :) We aren't a good fit.
