Unwind in this beautifully appointed carriage house on our horse farm high above the Champlain Valley. Centrally located to a dozen ski areas, New England's best biking & hiking and only minutes from spectacular Lake Champlain.

After enjoying the area's activities, come home and relax by the fire, soak in the jacuzzi tub or have a glass of wine on the terrace watching the horses play in the pasture.

20 min. from Burlington's great restaurants on Church Street and the Waterfront boardwalk.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. Loved the everything about it- the view, the cleanliness, and of course the horses! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking in the area for a quick or extended stay.

We loved our visit! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed meeting some of the resident dogs. The space was clean and had everything we needed. My favorite part of the trip was sitting outside and enjoying the fire pit, while watching the sun set over the property!

Great little stay

Our family had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with great views. The girls had fun watching the horses. Access to the property was very easy, parking was convenient and we had everything we needed.

The carriage house was such a warm, comfy, and inviting space after staying in a bedroom at an older inn earlier on our three state trip. The house was clean and spacious and the view beautiful, with the fall colors brilliantly displayed across the pasture and boarded by the beautiful mountains in the distance. The windows throughout allow a feeing of being one with the outside nature and beautiful skies. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Amazing Stay!

We had an incredible time! House was super clean and had everything we needed, the host was friendly, and our three year old son loved the horses, dogs, and chickens. The views are amazing and the couch and bed were super comfortable. We would definitely love to return!

The carriage house was as lovely, if not more so, than the pictures and the surroundings were peaceful and idyllic. The hosts' were quick to answer any questions we had and their hospitality was amazing. The location is great, only 20-30 minutes away to Burlington or Shelburne. This is a total win and a no-brainer for any vacation in Vermont.

This was a beautifully designed VRBO - immaculately clean and furnished with everything a traveler could want! It was cozy, yet spacious. The location was stunning - and so unique - we could see the horses on the other side of the building through a glass partition! The countryside was beautiful, as were the pastures and road heading to the carriage house. We so appreciated the "pet friendly" location, as our rescue terrier travels with us. He found the pet bed to be "just right." Our accommodations were very comfortable, with both a powder room downstairs and an upstairs bath. The upstairs laundry was also a big plus! Hope to return soon as there was a lot to see and do in the area.

Cute and clean

Clean space with open living room/kitchen. Very nice host. Carriage house spa e connected to horse barn. Owners thought to put a window looking into the barn which was nice for watching the 3 beautiful horses. Downside of that is heading the occasional banging of horses in their stalls in the middle of the night and early morning, but not too much of a disturbance. Loves the dog who came to greet us and would stop by for visits.

We enjoy the outdoors and managing a small farm. We love VT and the idea of sharing this beautiful property with others.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Although close to Burlington, the cottage itself is on a hillside at the end of a dirt road, with beautiful views and starry night skies. The cottage itself is its own building, but ajacent to a horse barn. The main house house is approximately 100 yards away with obstructing trees giving both living areas plenty of privacy.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cottage is a 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath standalone living area located adjacent to a horse stable, with viewing into the stables. A tv room offers a full-sized futon for additional sleeping accommodations. There's also a nice sitting area with a gas fireplace for those cold nights; and a nicely appointed kitchen with door to patio and outside fireplace.
