The Space:

Welcome to Casa Vermillion, your home away from home. This modern cabin gives you all the conveniences and comforts you could ask for! Casa Vermillion is nestled in the trees with stunning views of the red rock plateaus, yet is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Kanab and all it has to offer. This home is a guest house located at the back of the property with complete privacy. A private drive will direct you to the home where you will find ample room to park vehicles and trailers. A pull through driveway makes getting in and out easy.



As you enter through the front door you will be met with an inviting and open floor plan featuring a large comfortable couch and a large flat screen Smart TV, a beautiful, fully appointed kitchen with everything you need to feel right at home, and a dining table that seats six with room for five more at the bar! This space makes gathering with friends and family easy!



Use the large sliding glass doors to access the covered patio on the West side of the house, where you can relax and enjoy those southern Utah summer nights, or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as you watch the red hills light up under the rising sun. Climb the stairs to the loft where you will find accommodations for four, with two comfortable, full sized beds and two bean bags.



Just off the kitchen you will find two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a California King sized bed, night stands, a closet and a Smart TV. Large sliding glass doors lead you from this bedroom directly out to the patio on the West side of the house.



Located next to this bedroom is a guest bathroom and a laundry room. The bathroom offers a beautifully tiled walk-in shower and double vanity, while the laundry room is equipped with full capacity machines for your convenience.



The second bedroom is the primary bedroom and features a comfortable King size bed, night stands, a closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Large sliding glass doors lead to the back of the home, and an additional exterior door in this room leads you to your own patio on the South side of the home.



Casa Vermillion offers privacy, seclusion, convenience, and comfort! Come stay, and play, in Kanab!



Guest Access:

Casa Vermillion is a guest house located on our property. The guest house is completely separate from the main house, with a private drive that takes you to the back of the property and the home, ensuring complete privacy. An entry code will be given to you prior to check in.



The Neighborhood:

Casa Vermillion is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family-friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones and pets! There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
