Location-Location-Location and Pet Friendly

Your cozy getaway awaits in Bracey at this gorgeous, updated house located on Popular Creek. It's only 7 miles off I-85 and 1 hr. or so from RDU and Durham. Relax on the deck, enjoy the view and forget about the daily grind. It's located within the Tanglewood Golfing Community with an awesome golf course, private beach area and pool. The newly remodeled home has an outstanding view from the kitchen and dining room. The main floor layout lets you enjoy the view while you prepare your meals or while you eat those meals on the gigantic dining room table that is also perfect for a game of cards with the whole family. Or you can you sip on your cup of java in the am while you relax on the deck or inside on the full-length chair. This home has 4 bedrooms plus a bonus bunk room. Three of those bedrooms are located on the main floor. A master bedroom has its own master bathroom with a sliding pocket door. It has its own Bluetooth Speaker built into the bathroom fan to listen to your favorite tunes while you relax in your private shower. It may be small, but it is your own private bathroom. The other bedrooms each boasts a Queen bed and your own wall mounted TV for your viewing pleasure during those rainy days. The main floor also has a full bathroom and a nice living room with couches and a wall mounted TV. Downstairs is a kid's mecca or an In-Law get away. You have a nice nuke with couches and another large TV. You also have plenty of room to enjoy a game of ping pong, play checkers or play cards on the card table, and to top it off, you have a dart board to have a challenging game with a friend. Adjacent to this room, you have another full bathroom and on the other side of that door you have the 4th bedroom. The bonus of this room, if you have small kids, you can make it your oasis because it has a bunk room connect to it. Like I said, your own little private get away from your other guests.

Outdoors: Off the main floor, you have a beautiful deck with a lounge, two chairs, and outdoor dining room table. Awesome and relaxing area to take in the views. My favorite place to relax. And of course, you have a private boat house (feel free to tie your boat off). It has awesome views from the top deck. You also have your own fire pit to have story times at night while eating some smores with the family. If water isn't necessary your enjoyment, don't worry, the house has a very large concrete patio outside that you can enjoy a game of basketball, game of cornhole, or grill out on. Or just ask us how to set up movie night outside, we have a projector for your use and the kids will love it!!! Everything is included in your stay.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION:
- You have 2 golf courses with in minutes of the house, the Tanglewood Golf Course is only few hundred yards away from the doorsteps.
- Rosemont Winery is only 1.5 miles away that you can enjoy a glass of their award-winning wine or simply relax and enjoy their view, gift shop, or the local arts gallery.
- My favorite - Shady Shack Gill - Great Food, Drinks, and Music right on the water. Only a mile or so down the road or half the distance on your boat. It's located at the Poplar Point Marina.
-2 Marina's: Poplar Point and Holly Grove Marina. For all your boating and fishing needs.
- Ice Cream shops : Holly Grove Marina and another towards I-85 named Lickety Split

Don't forget that a short 15-20 min ride you also have South Hill that has all your shopping needs taken care of and plenty of other restaurants and shops. Need any recommendations, just feel free to ask me.



Lets talk about your stay, some highlights and key points:

Linens, towels, toilet paper, and small packets of soap and shampoo are included. You will also have a roll of paper towels. If you are staying more than a few days, I would bring more.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are under 50lbs and friendly. There will be a Pet Policy (rules as keep them on a lease and so forth) that you will have to sign along with a non-refundable pet fee of $200.

Internet: We have the best at the lake; TV's all have apps that you can sign into to watch your favorite shows. Internet password will be provided at check in. I said "Lake" because this isn't the big city of Raleigh with Fiber Optics.

Trash: We have a dumpster a few streets over for your daily needs. At check out, feel free to leave your trash outside and we will take it for you.

Camera: I do have a single camera on the side of the house to make sure the people checking are those you reserved the house and also for safety reasons.

Septic Tank: Please only flush toilet paper. No female products, plastics, garbage or anything else. Toilet paper only. Any damage to the septic tank because of ignoring the rules will be responsible for any and all damage.

Outdoor Activities:
Boating - Feel Free to tie off on the boat slip that doesnt have the boatlift, It will easily hold a pontoon boat. Be careful of the water depth. If you need more than 2-3 ft of water, this house may not be for you. With that being said, if you want to go swimming, I would proceed to the community beach and swimming area. They sometimes have a small fee to use but definitely worth it. Of course, fishing is always allowed down at the boat house.
You have 1 bridge to go under to the main lake. I've never heard anyone not making it under, but please double check clearance.

Lastly: I LOVE my neighbors, they are super kind, So I ask you please respect their property boundaries and privacy. If you want to party outside till 3 am, my place is not the place for you. I WANT YOU to have fun and be also respectful. Any questions, feel free to ask.
