Family weeekend

Paula’s house is the perfect lake front getaway. The house had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful views. The house had some upgrades which made it even better than the listing described. Paula was very easy to communicate with and the house had everything you needed to feel at home!

Thanksgiving

This is the third or fourth time we’ve stayed in this house, and it’s our family’s favorite tradition! My husband and I are from the area, so many family members come up Thanksgiving Day for dinner, and fireside chats! We are so grateful to be able to spend this time together, especially after losing my mom last year. Thank you Paula!

The place is the epitome of pure relaxation and bliss, you have everything you need and more. The lake, the view , the open area concept is what dream vacations are made of but to top It off, Paula as a host is a big bonus, so easy to communicate with and so understanding . It was great weekend getaway! We all enjoyed ourselves!

The house has beautiful surroundings! You can’t go wrong staying on a lakefront. My guests used the canoes and the campfire! We all have a blast!

Ski weekend getaway

It’s a beautiful property right in front of the lake, the owner Paula is very nice and easy to contact. This property will be even more breathtaking during summer and we’re thinking of renting this beautiful place again in summer.

Spring get away

Our stay in Paula’s house was absolutely enjoyable. The lake view was breathtaking. The kids and adults have so much fun kayaking, canoeing and using the paddle boat. The kids have their own space in the basement where they can walk out to the lake. They enjoyed the fire pit roasting their marshmallows. We will definitely comeback. We made happy memories even in the middle of pandemic. 😊Perfect vacation house.

You will want for nothing

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the lake at this wonderful home. We had more than enough room, and the kids loved the basement with the pool table, a place to hook up the Xbox, separate sleeping quarters, a third bathroom, and walk-out access to the patio and lake. I loved being able to sit out on the huge deck in the morning and read my book while having coffee and even had a few morning visitors.(deer). And the gas grill on the deck is awesome too (it's HUGE!) My daughter and I paddled around the lake in a kayak and on a raft or a tube. My husband and son put the kayaks to work all week as they explored the best fishing spots and we all enjoyed the firepit. We were a bit worried about the master bedroom being in the loft, but it was all for nothing. It is a huge space as is the bathroom. If you don't sleep well in bright spaces, bring a sleeping mask but you'll want to be up anyhow to enjoy every hour you can on the lake! My suggestion to first-time renters would be "Go explore the house" first. There is SO much there - even things you wouldn't think you might need (extra long marshmallow prongs for example). There are plenty of pillows and the bedrooms are all tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook whatever you want (there is a great griddle in the drawer below the oven). The place was incredibly clean (and I'm SO picky). There are games in closets and lake toys in the garage. I can't say enough nice things about it. Lastly - you won't have to worry about not being able to get in touch with the owner. Paula was EXTREMELY patient as I contacted her about where I could find certain things (which were usually right under my nose). The check-in/out process was easy. The only thing we didn't like was leaving.

Weekend stay

Will definitely come back. Check in easy. Owner responds in timely manner. And ther view of ther lake breathtaking. Eventhough the resort amenities were closed, we still had a relaxing, enjoyable weekend.

Lovely

We enjoyed being on the lake. It is very relaxing. Property was homey and clean. The only thing to be aware of is the master bedroom is a loft. Fortunately we were with family so we were not concerned about the lack of privacy but it may matter to some. Would recommend this property for a family vacation.
