Fun in the Sun!

We had a great family vacation and this house and location were perfect for us. Between watching free movie night at the Cavalier, the beach, the water park, the fireworks - it was a fun filled week!

Perfect Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect house for our family of 6 adults and one child. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was plenty of space in the living room, dining area, and kitchen for us to gather and relax together. Robb was incredibly helpful, friendly, and provided excellent communication about the property and the surrounding area. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. It was very well stocked with everything we needed for the beach, which made our planning and packing for spending the day on the beach much easier. The short, easy walk to the beach was a huge plus, and we loved that the beach itself was beautiful and not overcrowded. The neighborhood was lovely - just outside the touristy area but still close enough to enjoy the boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The perfect VRBO

I loved everything about this home. From the beginning Robb very easy to communicate with. The house itself was exactly as pictured, very clean, great appliances and cookware. Main living area was perfect size for our family group. Location can’t be beat!

Awesome, as always!

We have stayed here 4-5 times already and we love it, we keep coing back. This is a really nice house: close to the beach and a great quiet neighborhood, no pets and hypoallergenic everything (we need that!), convenient lay out with 2 master bedrooms, enough bathrooms for everybody, fully stocked kitchen, everything is provided like luxury shampoo (which I always forget). Rob is an amazing landlord: always responsive, whatever the issue, always on top of things. He installed the baby gates just because we asked about them. And we just used them years later, again. Also, all the beach gear is there, which is no small thing that you do not have to bring with you: 2 wheel carts, umbrellas, toys, and chairs. LInens and towels are also provided, in great numbers :) And the house also has an outside shower, which is great. Highy recommend!

Great beach stay!

Outstanding property! Roomy, comfortable, extremely well stocked, great location. Very clean. Lots of great extras including beach chairs, carts and boogie boards. Beach was wonderful; easy 2 block walk, sand bottom as far out as we could stand, not at all crowded. Nice, usable back yard and deck. Extremely easy working with home owner.

Lots of Room for all of us

The property was in great shape and provided lots of room for all of us. The beds and bedrooms were huge and luxurious. It was an easy 2 block walk to the beach and the provided beach chairs, boogey boards and beach buggies were greatly appreciated!

Great house and great location

Our family enjoyed staying at this property! The house is very clean, well equipped and all beds are very comfortable. It's located in a great neighborhood, a few minutes walk from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Great, as always!

This is our 4th or 5th time at this house. We love it. Close to a nice secluded beach, clean, everything is provided. When kids were small, the owner installed staircase gates for us. That was great. And he responds to texts in under a minute. Thank you! And see you next year :)

Great House, Great Location

The house was as described, spacious, clean and well appointed. It's an easy short walk to the uncrowded Croatan beach, especially with the big wheel beach carts provided by the Host. We would definitively rent again.

Perfect vacation oasis

The house and surrounding grounds are beautiful and everything we needed was there — exactly as described. It felt like an oasis and was perfect for a much needed beach week with my family and my sister’s family. The beach is a very short walk away and the beach carts made getting the stuff there a breeze. We were very happy to have the umbrellas too. The beach was never crowded, even around the holiday weekend. Robb was very communicative throughout and provided great suggestions for activities during our stay. We hope to be back!

Great Family Vacation House

This property is located within a quick walk to an uncrowded beach. The owner has appointed the house very well - we cooked our meals almost every night there and had everything we needed for preparation. The garden is amazing too! It's obvious that this is a well-tended home.

Location and privacy

Beach is only 100+ yards up the street with easy beach access. Because this is in a residential area, the beach was not crowded at all! It's only a few min drive to the boardwalk. House was awesome! Host provided beach towels, beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and has 2 carts with huge wheels. Rooms are nice and loved having 2 master suites. Definitely would stay there again.

Excellent!!

Can't say enough about the great home, accommodations and Robb was for his attentiveness to detail to make sure that EVERYTHING you needed for a vacation was present in the home. The beach access was an easy walk from the house. Did not have to worry about bringing chairs, umbrella, linens, towels, etc. The beds were comfortable and everything was super clean! Highly recommend and look forward to going back to the house again. The location is perfect, close enough to the boardwalk to walk or a short drive. The beach is more private with less people and easy to walk and relax.

Our Family Time

This was an excellent find for our family. Robb is a SUPER host! I love that he stays in communication during the stay. It made everything much more personable. The house was very clean and just right for the seven of us. It is well appointed and has everything you need for a beach vacation. We would definitely choose this property again.

Outstanding all around!

Beautiful home with very easy beach access even with small children. The beach was never crowded - exactly as advertised. Owner provides coffee, linens, towels, shampoo and other amenities that enhance the stay. Property very clean. We felt Covid safe. Only word of advice for parents with young children — the ocean is a rougher surf than we were used to. Our kids could not get in on their own without an adult present in the water with them. But water temp great and everyone had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay again. Owner extremely helpful and responsive to all questions we asked during stay!

Great location

The house was just as presented and Rob was always available to answer questions. The masks and keurig provisions were a nice touch! The walk to the beach was pretty short and we were really happy with how uncrowded it was. It made for a very relaxing vacation.

Great Family Vacation House!

This is a beautiful home located just two short blocks from the beach. It was perfect for our extended family of 8. The house was very clean when we arrived. We really appreciated the already made beds and lots of towels! We cooked at home most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed plus a great pantry. Robb was a wonderful host who communicated all the info we needed and was readily avavailable to answer questions.

Croatan vacation

Great beach house for families!! Everyone in my family loved the close proximity to the beach. The home was very clean and everything that was needed was provided! The outside shower was a real hit, especially for my 2 year old grandson 😊 Would definitely return to this house! Rob was a real blessing to work with and always available to answer questions

Family Beach Vacation

The house was amazing, super clean and well equipped. Our families of 3 generations had a great time. I had my beach walk with my parents (75 + years old) everyday early at dawn - we enjoyed the view and the fresh air. As the cook for the family, I personally loved your kitchen. I felt like my own kitchen. And Robb was truly the best host everyone could dream of. Very responsive!

Short 800 feet walk to toes in the sand. Semi-private beach next door to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. My favorite thing to do is to get up earlier and watch the sunrise in the morning with harding anybody in site. Seeing the Osprey dive for fist and watch the dolphins hunt for breakfast. I great way to start your day!
