Stepping into this charming country craftsman is like coming home. With calming, comfortable and tasteful decor your home away from home is fully equipped for your family so you will find everything you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable.
The main level of our home centers around an incredible artisan stone chimney and hearth which supports the vintage look of a Vermont Casting gas fireplace.
Two interior sitting areas provide quiet spaces to retreat. While the covered porch invites morning coffee and conversation or afternoon bevies and games.
Also on the main floor two queen bedrooms flank the main bathroom (shower) with washer/dryer. Upstairs you'll find a comfy leather lounging area with flat screen TV and the spacious master suite with king bed and ensuite with soaker tub.
Whether you consider starting your day by walking the few short few steps to Henderson Beach to unwind and play away your day or wonder into the Heart of the Creek to seek out the Gumboot Cafe & Restaurant for your morning latte or a sumptuous meal you will know you have found your Groove (with a capital 'G' :-)
While you're in the 'Heart of the Creek' head straight toward the water. At low tide Roberts Creek Beach is sandy and expansive. Tons of room to safely let the kids run and play to their hearts content.
If you're seeking to test your golf game the Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club in Roberts Creek won't disappoint. And it's only 5 minutes from the house.
Adjacent to the golf course is Cliff Gilker Park. Rated 5.0 this park has over seven kilometers of winding trails, bridges and numerous waterfalls. This magical old growth rainforest is an outing the whole family will enjoy.

My husband, Barry, and I grew up in North Vancouver and both (unknowingly) moved to the Sunshine Coast. Kismet brought us together and we settled in Roberts Creek where we raised our two daughters. Barry has been a teacher/principal on the Coast for over 50 yrs now. Wow! My background is in tourism so it was natural that we would open our home to visitors. Our guest book is full of repeat friends whose families we have seen grow. In fact one such family's girls think this is 'their' summer home and I care take it for them. And it's my pleasure to do so. Welcome :-))

Our home is in a cul de sac of only five homes just steps from Henderson Beach. Close to all amenities but no traffic just the sound of birds and sea lions.
