The house features an open style kitchen, family room, and dining room affording 180° views of ocean and intracoastal waterway. A fully stocked gourmet style kitchen with Bosch appliances is something to be enjoyed, enhanced by views of the ocean and sound. The spacious kitchen also allows many helping hands to make the experience much easier on the main chef.

The home was totally remodeled in 2006 to provide us with all the bells and whistles we wanted in a dream house. It is divided into two sections: upstairs for the adults to relax and visit; and downstairs for the younger ones to enjoy quiet time or to watch TV, movies, or play many of the games provided. And everyone can enjoy the shuffleboard table and beach games downstairs!

Enjoy all the activities associated with sound access including kayaking (several provided), canoeing (one provided), crabbing (crab traps available), and clamming. The house has a pier on a large marsh bay area that is safe kayaking for children (avg depth of 3 ft). The waterway is several hundred yards away and accessible at high tide with a small boat. Yachts and fishing vessels are a pleasure to watch from our decks and dock, as well as many varieties of birds including osprey, great herons, egrets, and pelicans. Relax in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the waterway and under the stars at night.

The outdoor shower under the front deck is a great accommodation to rinse off all the sand and sunscreen from a day on the beach, which can be accessed using a private walkover across the street!
