I take great pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space, and I’m disappointed that this guest felt otherwise. To clarify a few points: • The pool adjacent to the property is not advertised as part of the rental and is clearly marked as non-operational. • The stairs and railing meet safety standards and have never been flagged as hazardous by previous guests or inspectors. • The furniture is regularly cleaned and maintained, and any wear is consistent with normal use—not neglect. • The bathroom is thoroughly cleaned before each stay, and supplies such as toilet paper and soap are always stocked. If anything was missed, I wish I had been given a chance to address it during the stay. • I did respond to the guest’s concerns, and while I regret that they chose to leave early, I never intended to be dismissive. My comment was meant to acknowledge their decision, not to deny assistance. I understand that travel can be stressful and expectations vary, but I stand by the quality of my property and the care I put into hosting.
