Hermosa casa de campo italiana construida en 1832 ofrece impresionantes vistas al campo y toneladas de carácter histórico con todas las comodidades modernas. Con 4.400 pies cuadrados y techos de 10 pies, también hay mucho espacio. 5 dormitorios, 3 baños, incluido un hermoso dormitorio principal y baño principal adjunto en el segundo piso. Cama adicional en una habitación adicional en el piso de arriba (por lo tanto, la casa puede dormir 12). La gran combinación de cocina / sala familiar es EL lugar para entretenerse. Acogedora guarida para lectura y oficina con computadora para el trabajo. La piscina se ha ido. 20 acres escénicos para recorrer. Perfect mini reunion

Everyone in the group marveled at how perfect the farm house was for our weekend away from the big cities. Trent was a great host - we will come back, that is if we can get on the schedule!

Perfect Retreat

My family had an absolutely incredible stay Marshall. We loved it so much we all decided to extend out stay another night! It was an absolutely perfect retreat for a large family with a few young kids in tow. The setting invites one to slow down and unwind. We loved the access to fresh greens, veggies, and berries from the gardens. We ventured out to Gull Lake. It was beautiful! Marshall is a charming town. It was fun to explore the town on a Saturday afternoon after the farmer market. We are so grateful to have booked this lovely home. If you're considering it, go for it! It won't disappoint.

Beautiful Home

The home was super spacious and gorgeous. There were six of us and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. Plenty of storage and gathering space. The home is tastefully decorated to help maintain the historical feel. Only a few miles to the casino and highway is a plus. I would definitely return. Just a note: On the VRBO sight it said noon check out but it was 11:00 am. Not a big deal for us, just good to know.

Great and unique experience

We loved the home and enjoyed watching the snow fall around the farmhouse while enjoying a nice fire. Loved having fresh produce in the refrigerator upon arrival. The house is large and unique. Highly recommend

Family Time at the Farm

This property was perfect for our large family, 12 people. Everyone had their own space, which was easy with the three seating spaces. The grocery store was close to pick up needed items. The only downside was not having a toaster in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time at the farm.

Fun times on the farm

Our extended family enjoyed our visit so much! Plenty of room for all 12 of us. Trent was so kind to bring us plenty of fresh tomato’s . Greenhouses were very cool and downtown Marshall was a fun place to shop. Could have used a better cleaning prior to our visit but did not take away from the experience .

A perfect getaway for peace and quiet

Trent's farm/farmhouse are a unique find. It's a great place for kids to explore and get away from the bustle of wherever you may be traveling from/to. Don't miss a day out on Gull Lake, 30 min away and worth every minute. We booked on a spur of the moment week's trip to get out of the city and couldn't have asked for anything more - other than maybe a bit cooler weather! What kind of host is Trent? The night we arrived the air conditioner and furnace both had an unexpected issue (keep in mind it was nearly 90 degrees outside) and Trent had someone out that night, finishing up at 1:00am. As a landlord myself, his communication and attentiveness was what I hope I am like with my tenants! Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Thanksgiving Memories

My family and I had a wonderful time at this house!!! We wanted a special place to spend Thanksgiving with our family and we could not have chosen a better location!! A beautiful, warm house, rich in history and plenty of space for myself, my husband, brother and kids to spread out or hang together! Our host Trent stopped by the first night with fresh vegetables from their garden and he was so hospitable and kind!! The town of Marhsall was decked out for the holidays and we shopped and ate well!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this location if you are looking to get away and make some special memories!! There is even an outdoor cat, May, that will visit you and make you feel welcomed!!!

Perfection again

This was our second Girls' Weekend at The Farm. It was exactly as we remembered, and exactly what we needed for our family gathering. A warm, inviting home. Beautiful spaces. Respectful owners, and a great surrounding area to explore. We highly recommend this beautiful, inviting treasure.

Country living at its best!

Where to start? Sadie, the farm dog, welcomed our group of 9 women for a weekend getaway. Trent, the property owner, was not far behind with fresh-picked tomatoes. He remained unobtrusively available for questions through the weekend. The kitchen is spacious, very well equipped and the perfect gathering spot with a comfortable seating area adjacent to the kitchen. There’s a tv viewing room adjacent as well with more great seating. There’s a 3rd gathering room with a lovely working fireplace and lastly, a strap around porch that offered cooling breezes. There was not an uncomfortable bed in the place, all covered in brightly colored quilts that compliment the beautiful artwork that covers the walls throughout the house. Enough bathrooms for 9 women-need I say more! Twenty minutes to Marshall for shopping and many dining options. The farm is a venue for country themed weddings as well. The sunflower and zinnia gardens provided bright color to the overall bucolic setting of the farmhouse. Refreshing and relaxing. Best girls’ weekend!

Very nice house for our girls weekend!

We really liked this home in Marshall. It's out in the country...very quiet and peaceful. The house is very spacious and decorated nicely. We liked the big kitchen and living room area that we could all congregate in to visit and relax. The bedrooms were a comfortable size, but yet cozy. We enjoyed our weekend at the house and all that Marshall has to offer.

Spacious Farmhouse, Well Appointed and Super-Responsive Hosts

While planning a family reunion, we found this farmhouse just minutes away from downtown Marshall. The rooms were all beautifully large, and there was plenty of living space for our group of 10. The large kitchen made it a natural gathering space, while the screened in porch was used to watch the beautiful sunsets. Trent was extremely responsive, even when I asked a question more than once. There were simple instructions upon arrival, and "check-out" was extremely easy as well. We would definitely rent this place again!

very nice place for our large family to have a weekend together

The property was as advertised and was very clean. The large kitchen area and great room were excellent for our large group. It's very quiet and night which makes for a great night's sleep!! Flowers were just beginning to bloom so we didn't get the full experience at this time of year but would definitely come back!!

Amazing, Beautiful, Comfortable & Memorable

We rented this wonderful farm home for 3 nights to attended a family celebration. The six bedrooms and three bathrooms were just perfect for our other brothers, sisters and kids to have privacy. The three family rooms/ sitting rooms were perfect for socializing and the kitchen island was great for everyone to sit and stand around. The owners were a pleasure to meet and went above and beyond in customer service. The property is just a short drive into the Marshall’s downtown area. We will stay here again next time we are in the area. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely property!

Idyllic scenery and warm hospitality

We just had the most wonderful stay at this farmhouse in Marshall. The home was so warm and cozy and beautiful. They have done a beautiful job of maintaining the character of the home while also updating it with modern conveniences and comforts. We bought some of the produce from the farm during our stay and it was so delicious. We even tried a Brussel sprout and kale hybrid vegetable that we had never had before. Trent and his wife were so accommodating and kind. They were very available for helping us with anything we might need while also making us feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. We couldn't have had a better experience and we hope to come back again!!

Spacious and Cozy

So many nice things have been said about this place and the hosts and I agree with all of them. We had a group of 4 couples and every person thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house is in great shape, neatly decorated, and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. It was a joy to stay here!

Great house for a large group gathering

I rented the Farmhouse for an Olivet College reunion weekend. Everyone in our group appreciated the space and proximity to Marshall restaurants and a short drive to Olivet. We will be back!

Amazing home with plenty of room

This house was great! Myself and a group of friends stayed here for the weekend and we all greatly enjoyed it. The house was spacious and very comfortable. The property was nice and provided a good view when relaxing on the porch. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions.

A Truly Unique and Memorable Experience

The Farmhouse could not have left a better impression on our group. A number of us stayed at this property during a pop-up restaurant in Albion. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time throughout the day to spend at the house. The house was very comfortable and still exhibits the charm of simple lifestyle. I've always been hesitant when staying in homes whose owner stays on the property. Literally...and I mean literally, we had no idea the owners were there. Free flower picking, the wrap around deck, the open kitchen for entertaining were among some of our favorite concepts the property offers. Our group is still talking about what an enjoyable weekend it was and the farmhouse had a great deal to do with that! Already planning a trip back to Marshall next year!

Hospitality above and beyond

Trent and his family were really great hosts! Having the owners on site was an amazing perk as they were able to perfectly balance being kind gracious hosts while still giving our group total privacy and freedom. The house is huge, and has been maintained extremely well. It has a huge kitchen and living space that are combined which allowed our group of 13 to all be in the same space but not be overcrowded. Go stay with them, you won't regret it!
