The rental company was very easy to work with, and Marvin (the onsite caretaker) was super helpful. There are many very good restaurants (Anthony's, Drunken Sailor, Stowaway, Sandy Buns, Yahongreh?,...) within a 5 minute walk, as well as several dive shops and small grocery stores. Water taxi dock is also a couple minute walk. The unit was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and the views from balcony and rooftop were fantastic. Everything that was under the control of the rental company was five-star worthy. However, it's only fair to mention the noise from Frank's Hideaway at night. It was extremely loud in the bedroom, and went until about 2am on the weekends. If not for the noise issue, we would be happy to return to Bella Luna again and again. As it is, we will probably look for other locations managed by this rental company.

Perfect location

We loved this place. The beach was our backyard. The best snorkeling was right there. We paid for snorkeling trip but should have just stayed there. Walking distance to everything. Took a water taxi to other parts of the island. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

We loved the location to everything. Very nice place. Our only problem was bugs. We do understand that in a warm climate it's tough to control.Would definitely return.

I have never stayed just steps from beautiful snorkeling. Our condo was roomy, comfortable and well equipped. All shops and restaurants were within walking distance. We had a wonderful time visiting the Rusty Fish and the Roatan Chocolate Factory. We will return again.

We love Bella Luna House

This is our 4th time staying at the Bella Luna House. All 3 units are beautiful and clean and the location is unbeatable. Walk out your private yard into the ocean. Perfect. The management team is amazing. Thank you Eric and Frankie for the pick up and return trips! See you all next time.

Great property to rent in the heart of the west end. Walking distance to local restaurants. Apartment had everything you would need a well equipped kitchen plenty of towels. Arranged to be picked up from the airport everything was seemless. Great view from the apartment. Would definitely rent this place again

Perfect Spot on Roatan

I had an amazing stay here, everything looks as it is on the webpage. A/C was great the whole time, TV works perfectly, the WiFi was strong for the entire stay. The Kitchen has everything you need. The staff is extremely helpful and the location is perfect. In my opinion the best spot on the island, just steps away from the water, a grocery store and a variety of restaurants and bars. There are plenty of fun activities to get into and the management team can help you with anything that you would like to get into.

Perfect location in paradise

Stayed here for 10 days in July with my husband for our Honeymoon. The property was as advertised and the views were awesome! There was some loud music from nearby clubs in the evenings (mostly on the weekend) but we expected that for being in West End. Didn’t really bother us. The management was easy to contact and a breeze to work with. Steps away from the water and local restaurants. Loved it.

On half moon bay, west end

Fun and interesting location on half moon bay. Wanted to be on the water for the view and for access to the water for swimming and snorkeling. Aside from late, like to 3pm thumping music from the cigar bar on the weekend, great location to people watch, and relax…and the north facing deck with palm cover means you won’t cook in the sun. Staff attentive and friendly. Next door Winston runs his own water taxi. There are three excellent restaurants within rock throwing distance. Couch and chair inside are a bit odd, could be more comfortable. Good chance we’ll be coming back

Super nice property and location. Host's service and communication is top notch.

Location, property and service from hosts are top notch for the West End.On Friday and Saturday nights music from a bar across the main street was heard loud from the bedroom unitl 2am . But if you go to the living room, it is significantly minimized. I recongnize this is out of host's control, buy only reason why not give my stay the full 5 stars. If one can plan around it, it should be no problem. We were diving early mornings, so staying up late and joining the party wasn't an option during our trip.Otherwise, highly recommend.

Great Location and Property

My wife and I spent 9 days in Roatan at the Bella Luna House, 2nd Floor, on Half Moon Bay. It was our first visit to Roatan. The house is exactly as the pictures indicate. It is right on a calm bay with minimal foot traffic and great view and proximity to snorkeling. The house was wonderful including the roof top area which was awesome. We were fortunate to have the rooftop all to ourselves. The porch of the 2nd floor was nice, but the sand flees would be a bit of an issue when sitting on the chairs, but it was fine at the table. Some people, in other reviews complained about the evening noise in other reviews, but it was not very loud or bothersome. We would definitely stay there again. There are so many restaurants and bars close by, even one next door, and we had great service and mails throughout our trip. the people of Roatan were extremely, nice warm and nice.

Location, location, location

This property is in a wonderful location that puts you very close to west end’s restaurants and bars and also 2 steps from crystal clear water. You’re able to snorkel right from the property with a swimming area with beautiful reefs just feet away. Highly recommend visiting moana divers for your scuba diving, bean crazy for breakfast or lunch and sundowners for drinks.

Perfect! Everything I hoped it would be!

I’ll start off by saying this property is beautiful! It’s modern, clean, well maintained and well appointed. The view of Half Moon Bay is breathtaking and the location in West End is exactly what we were looking for. You can walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars and the water is steps from the front gate. We had the property to ourselves as May is the low season and we stayed in the 2nd floor rental. Everything in the rental was as stated in the listing. Things that weren’t listed were all the doors have key codes to enter so you don’t have to carry a key, washer and dryer, and whole house water filtration system for all the faucets. This was especially nice so you didn’t have to worry when brushing teeth, showering or filling up water bottles. Pedro meets you on the road upon your arrival to take your things up to the house because you can only access it via the beach. This was not a problem for us. Although you do get sand on you if you are covered in coconut oil! Pedro refresh’s the pail of clean water by your door daily to rinse your feet. As we were the only renters on the property, we were able to use the 1st floor lounge chairs to leave our stuff while we snorkeled steps from our gate. It was also nice to rinse off the salt water in the outdoor shower. The rooftop is an amazing feature of this property! It’s a shared space with the other renters, but very private from the rest of West End. The plunge pool was a nice place to come back to and cool off. It has lounge chairs, picnic table, grill, patio set, sink and counter. There is even a cozy round daybed to view the stars! Being on a peninsula the views of the water are panoramic! The 2nd floor has WiFi, A/C, two flat screen TVs with cable, coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, nice appliances, etc. There were plenty of pots and pans if you want to cook, sufficient towels/washcloths and they even provide 4 beach towels! There is a bit of noise at night being you are right in West End, but we just put the tv on a sleep timer and the noise was done by 1 am. Pedro is always available if needed during the day. You are provided a local cell phone with minutes and contact numbers programmed. Jimmie from Roatan Vacation Rentals and Jamie from Detour Roatan were helpful, responsive and made us feel very welcome! They arranged our pick up/drop off with Frankie whose staff is friendly and accommodating! They take care of you from the moment you set foot on the island.

very well maintained property

We really enjoyed staying at Bella Luna for a week. Loved the views from the balcony and the ease of getting into the water to snorkel. Very modern look inside with a well stocked kitchen for all cooking needs. The rooftop area was also nice with 360 degrees views and a plunge pool for cooling off. Having use of a washer/dryer was a plus.Pedro the caretaker was always helpful when around and pleasant to talk to. Could have used an area to dry suits and towels. The only downside to the location was the loud music on some nights from a nearby bar.

Loved Bella Luna!

We just loved Bella Luna, we stayed on the 2nd floor for six nights; it was beautiful inside and out. Perfect location on West End with the beach in front and town in back. Plenty of bar/restaurants, stores and activities to pick from. This was our first time to Roatan and definitely will stay at Bella Luna again! And thank you Pedro for all your help!

If you want an upscale property in the center of West Bay, Roatan, this is the place. Well appointed 1 bedroom condo. Right smack dab in the middle of town. Easy 2-10 minute walk to everything. The rooftop deck with plunge pool was used daily, for morning coffee and bbq our daily catch.The view from the rooftop is amazing! Ginger’s , Creole Chicken, and Beachers were our go to spots. Our best meal out was at Creole’s. Fishing was quite good. We’re going back in February !!
