While I understand that every guest has different comfort levels, it’s important to be mindful that perceptions of a neighborhood can sometimes be influenced by subjective impressions. Comments about people “walking the street at all hours” can unintentionally come across as profiling, and the neighbors in this area are long-time, hardworking residents going about their normal routines. As hosts, our responsibility is to provide a safe, clean, and accurately represented home, which we consistently deliver. Since owning this property in 2016, we have never had a single issue with break-ins, theft, or vandalism. Like any city, especially one close to downtown, there is always a mix of activity, but there is no history of safety concerns at this home. We always encourage guests to review listing details, photos, and past reviews to ensure the location aligns with their personal preferences and comfort level. Guest perception of surroundings is ultimately outside of a host’s control, whereas delivering a high-quality, reliable stay is what we are best known for. We appreciate your stay and your feedback.
