Esta hermosa cabaña frente al lago / frente al mar con acceso por carretera se encuentra en el hermoso Lago de los Bosques, en la muy buscada zona de Keewatin Beach Road, a solo unos minutos al oeste de Kenora. Esta cabaña de 1268 pies cuadrados, estilo bungalow de 3 dormitorios con sótano, playa de arena, muelle y lancha adyacente ofrece lo mejor de ambos mundos, ofreciéndole unas vacaciones inolvidables y duraderas en uno de los principales destinos lacustres de Canadá al tiempo que brinda las comodidades y el confort del hogar. .

La planta principal cuenta con 2 habitaciones con pisos laminados nuevos, cuarto de baño de 4 piezas, sala de estar con pisos de madera dura, televisor de pantalla grande con cable, reproductor de DVD y Wi-Fi, cocina con refrigerador, estufa, lavaplatos y microondas, junto con una gran cocina independiente. Comedor con vista al agua. Hay una gran despensa en la despensa de la cocina con un congelador y un segundo refrigerador y almacenamiento adicional.

También hay una terraza en el comedor con barbacoa y patio. Ubicada en el sótano de salida, se encuentra la sala de recreación / área de juegos con una mesa de ping pong de tamaño completo, una mesa de futbolín, mesa de air hockey, equipo de música, dardos, área de descanso. El nivel inferior también tiene el tercer dormitorio, un segundo baño con ducha, junto con lavadora y secadora y un enfriador de bebidas adicional.

Hay una sala de pantalla al aire libre adjunta al sótano de la huelga. Las tres habitaciones cuentan con literas dobles (hasta 4 personas por habitación) y hay 3 nuevos sofás cama de cuero en la sala de estar.

Ubicado en la costa es una hermosa playa de arena perfecta para niños y adultos por igual. Al lado de la playa hay una segunda terraza con barbacoa y patio para que puedas asar en la playa. ¡También ubicado en la playa hay un pozo de fuego para esas fogatas nocturnas y malvaviscos asados! También hay un gran muelle para estacionar cualquier barco / seadoo que desee traer y un barco de lanzamiento adyacente. Además de la playa de natación y arena, otras actividades al aire libre incluyen el uso gratuito de un bote de remos, canoa, pozos de herradura, bádminton, red y pelota de voleibol, y un trampolín. La cabina está completamente amueblada con todos los utensilios de cocina, platos y mantelería necesarios para que su estadía sea lo más relajante y cómoda posible.

Great Location for family vacation!

Was a great vacation for our family of 9, house was clean and tidy with lots of space. Nice relaxing location, fishing was great. Weather was beautiful . Kids enjoyed every moment from lake life, fishing from the dock, to inside games , paddle boat, beach toys, kayaks. Nice to be walking distance to local grocery store, that had a great variety of goods. If there were any question or concerns hosts, John and Lana were just a phone call away.

A beautiful property as illustrated

Lots of room for family to stay and plenty to do both in the home and out. A beautiful little beach and fire put area, right on the water! Fishing guides can pick you up right on your dock!

Beachfront Lake of the Woods

This property is fantastic for a family get away! It was wonderful to have the dock and beach area with the boat launch right next door. The owner reached out to us a couple days ahead of our arrival with alot helpful information and was very responsive when we contacted him with questions.

Great family getaway !

Rented this place with the family. Weather was perfect so we were outside most of the time! Never did really play with any of the indoor things but nice to know that the option was there incase the weather was bad out. Great fishing as well!! Love how the boat launch was right beside us. Beach and sand area as very nice for the younger kids. Off the dock , the water is pretty shallow this time so the older kids weren’t able to jump off the dock. No Air conditioning but property had lots of fans in every room. John was there to welcome us and give us a tour of the place. Overall, would highly recommend this place!!! And would definitely consider renting again.

Spiders, splinters and sticky floors. Spent the first 3 days cleaning.

When we arrived we were met at the location by the owner and provided a tour. We then spent 3 days cleaning as it was not clean, cleaning responsibilities are placed on the guests. We feel this wasn’t cleaned or cleaned well prior to our arrival. We dealt with MANY spiders, an individual with us was bit by two different spiders during our stay, we are from Minnesota, we are use to spiders, but we dealt with many during our stay, we also dealt with ants like crazy. Certain spots of the home, we didn’t use such as the screened in porch, due to excessive amounts of mouse traps and we had 4 children with. The rest of the home had ant traps all over so that was challenging keeping them away from children. We are still pulling splinters out of our 1.5 years old hands due to all the wooden railings, and stairs outside- could use some upkeep. We also had one stair step at the top portion of the stairs rotting- we did communicate this to the owner, as well as a wasp nest. The property in the VRBO pictures, were older pictures as the beach was overgrown with thistles, and the beach is a lot smaller now and in person then what was in the photos we had seen and thought we were getting. We did use the kayaks which made for a fun addition for our 9 and 13 year olds. The main area couches were falling apart, and had holes. For the dock, there is no electricity. The baby gate was able to be unlocked and opened by the baby due to the railings. Nice location. Wildlife.

Perfect end to summer

We brought our adult kids and grandkids for some family time away and this cottage did NOT disappoint! Enough space for the entire family and so much to do for everyone. Between the game room, the water, nearby park, hiking trails, fire pit, we were all busy (or relaxing) the entire time. I have zero complaints! John was available for any questions we had and the experience was amazing. Thank you so much! Only downside was that we didn’t want to go home.

Beach Rd cottage

Beautiful property on Lake of the Woods. During our stay it was cool and raining which prevented us from fully enjoying the lake, amenities and great outdoors. No doubt when the weather is nice and warm this is a great place to stay. We enjoyed the sunroom and would recommend for families, big or small

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. John was a pleasure to deal with and always answered questions very quickly. Nothing beats the view on this cottage! They have all the fun beach toys for the adults and kids to explore the lake with. The park is just down the street and the kids loved riding their scooters down to the park. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place at Lake of the Woods. We will be back.

Great location and amenities

We really enjoyed our week. Having a boat launch adjacent to the property was very convenient. There is lots of room for a couple families and toys for all to enjoy. Loved the shower downstairs. The cottage had everything we needed and then some. We love Lake of the Woods and this is a great location. Had a lot of fun kayaking. Having a BBQ by the cottage and a smaller one close to the water was really nice as was the fire pit and wood. Thanks John and Lana

Well equipped

The cottage was well equipped and the location next to the boat ramp was ideal. The weather did not cooperate for our stay but the game room and convenience to Kenora (as well as the cable and wifi) were definite bonuses for rainy days. We were able to enjoy a fire in the fire pit by the water one evening which was lovely. This would be an ideal cottage for families given the generous size and multitude of games in the lower level, though it was also quite nice for the two of us.

This cabin was exactly as described; a beautiful lakefront property with all the amenities you could want & more! I would like to thank John for a lovely experience. He’s thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, easy and fun! It’s a perfect location for both little ones and adults. Summer holidays don’t get much better than this place!

Well equiped cottage with great location.

Our rental was for the first 2 weeks of September and was mostly an adults only vacation focused on fishing, enjoying the lake and visiting with friends and family. It turned out to be an ideal location with a boat launch very nearby and ample docking facilities which the made the fishing part of our vacation a breeze. The cottage (more like a house) had a very well equipped kitchen with 2 fridges and a chest freezer, a nice dining room overlooking the lake, a large comfortable living room open to the kitchen, lots of sleeping space and very nice bathrooms. The lower walk-out level had lots of games to entertain kids and adults alike. There were two nice outdoor decks for lounging, one dockside and one off the back of the cottage. We met the owner who was lovely to deal with. All is all, this place really suite our needs and we would rent again!

Great property for family with kids

My kids and I stayed in September with my sister and her kids—11 people total and lots of space for everyone. Everyone had a great time playing with the ping pong, air hockey, pool, and trampoline. We especially enjoyed having a beach right on the property—the kids could play at the water while my sister and I relaxed on the porch! We took lots of advantage of the boats and the sand toys and the dock. It’s a great area for younger kids because a peninsula on one side of the property and a dock on the other create a clear swimming area for them to stay within. We appreciated the well stocked wood shed for evening fires on the beach! There are some cool natural attractions around, like the Keewatin potholes just up the road or the nature hike across the highway. Also a few fun museum options in Kenora. If you stay with kids, check out the lake of the woods discovery centre at the beginning, because they let the kids bring in natural found objects for points that they trade for different rocks and shells etc. Cool little spot. Definitely a lovely area to spend a week and a fun property to stay at!

We booked it again for next year!

This was our first time staying at this cottage and we had such a great time! Out of the various cottages we've rented in the past, this place by far had the most amenities and things to do for the kids and our family. The cottage was very clean, and we found the location to be ideal. It was nice having the conveniences of Keewatin and Kenora only a few minutes away. We couldn't be more pleased, and we've already booked again for next year! Highly recommended!

Another amazing week at our favourite lake paradise

We've stayed at this vacation rental for the third year in a row. What can we say? It keeps getting better and better. Everything about the property makes our stay easy: - tons of parking. - lots of room and beds for guests. - huge grassed area for the kids to run and play. - plenty of deck space to lounge in the sun and enjoy a beverage and the spectacular view. The decks all have lots of seating and table space. - perfect beach and swimming area for the kids (beautiful sand and clear water). - boat launch flanking the property and a dock to use and keep the boat. - more than a fully stocked kitchen which keeps anything you could ever want or need to cook and serve meals. - tons of things to do right on the property - boardgames, table games (ping pong, air hockey, etc), outdoor games (horseshoe), paddle boating. - very close proximity to all amenities - 30 seconds away from a fully stocked grocery store, and minutes from downtown Kenora. - my personal favourite part: more fridge and freezer space than my own house, including a drink fridge dedicated to making my beverages extra cold. I could go on and on.... We've stayed at a number of vacation rentals in numerous places throughout North America. This is by far our favourite rental to visit. John (the owner) is so easy to work with, welcoming, and helpful. Check-in and out is a breeze. The property is clean and well taken care of. Every year we have visited we note that the rental has everything we could ever need. This year we did not even leave the property during our stay - and couldn't have been happier! If you're looking to spend a week in cottage paradise, don't think twice - this place is perfect.

5 STARS! Our family loved this cottage!

We rented this cottage this past summer (July) and were very impressed. It was clean, well appointed, and we loved the amenities, both indoor and outdoor. The games room was a hit as were the kayaks that the owner provided. We also loved the location, close to the amenities of Keewatin and Kenora. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, always quick to reply to any questions we had. We also greatly appreciated the owner supplying both the propane for the bbq's as well as firewood, we've rented other cottages in the past where this wasn't the case. The fishing on Lake of the Woods was also spectacular, and there are two marina's close by which made getting bait and fuel very convenient. 5 STARS! Our family loved this place and we all had a great time! Will absolutely try to book this cottage again the next time we are in the Kenora area. Thanks John!

Lake Of The Woods Retreat

We've had the pleasure of renting this beautiful lakefront cabin 2 years in a row, and are booked again for next year. This cottage has too many fantastic features to mention including the amazing quiet bay its situated in and breathtaking lakefront views. It's close to all amenities and not to mention majestic hiking trails. It is the highlight of our summer every year!

This property has a gorgeous lake view! Loved it!

I rented this cottage because it was on Lake of the Woods and it could accommodate a large family. I was not disappointed. There were 12 of us and there was lots of space for eating, playing games and hanging out. The kitchen was well equipped and again had the extra space for a pantry which had a chest freezer and an extra fridge. We enjoyed the yard space, sandy beach, paddle boat and canoe. The swimming area was ok, but was a little too weedy for the liking of my grandkids. However, there is a great little beach just a couple of minutes down the road which we really enjoyed. My contacts with John were great. He is very personable and friendly and quIck to respond to any emails and texts. He met me when I arrived and showed me around the property which I really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful time here. Thanks so much!

Awesome Vacation!

This was a wonderful experience from the time we first booked up to and including the day we left. The owner (John) was very pleasant, easy to deal with and made us feel comfortable in booking our vacation. On the day we arrived the owner met us at the cabin and gave us a tour, showing us where everything was. The cabin was extremely clean, and is very well appointed. The games room in the basement was a hit, as was the screen room, especially in the evenings! Outside, the large child friendly yard has a gentle slope down to the beach to allow for outdoor games as well. We also loved the deck at the beach where we had lunch at the picnic table almost every day! There was lots for our family to do both in the cabin and out, including the use of the canoe and a paddle boat! Also, just a nice to know is that Keewatin Beach is only about a 5 minute walk away, which has play structures for the kids. The location is very convenient. We even ordered pizza one night! Lol. We had a great time here. On the last day, we were barely in the car and our children were asking when we'll come back! Thank you John...we had a great holiday. We'll hopefully see you again next year! ;)

Perfect Spot!

I highly recommend staying at this great lakefront cabin. My daughter, myself and other family members had a great time swimming, having campfires, playing games and fishing during our week long stay. Has a great little beach perfect for small children. Boat launch is right beside cabin. Cabin is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc... The dining room has a spectacular view of the water! This was a place that feels like a 'home away from home! Only about 8 minutes from Kenora! Definitely booking next year! We all LOVED it!

We are very fortunate to have just recently purchased what we consider to be our dream cottage/retirement home in 2012. For the past 10 years or so, we have been renting ourselves on LOTW (Lake of the Woods). For us, we have always chose to rent on Lake of the Woods for its unsurpassed natural beauty, wildlife and overall appeal for lakefront cottage living.

We consider this particular location of our vacation home is an absolute gem and without a doubt was the one we had our heart set on. For us, this home offers the best of both worlds. The combination of having our own private sand beach and a large gentle sloped lot is perfect for our young children, yet this location also offers all the conveniences and amenities within a short drive.

We hope that you enjoy our vacation home as much as we do.
