It was a perfect spot for swimming, canoeing, etc. The huge deck overlooking the lake was great for entertaining visitors. We spent most of the weekend there and in the lake since the weather was excellent

This wonderful lake side house was perfect for our family, especially the private beach area for the toddlers. The view out over Lake of the Woods is lovely. The roofed upper balcony provided relief from direct sun and rain, and came equipped with an outside dining table, plus a griddle. The large kitchen had all the bells and whistles plus a professional fridge, with an abundance of pots, pans and dishes. The games room in the lower level came packed with amenities and was directly open for walkouts so easy access to the lawn, dock and beach area. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms convenient, clean and well-furnished with towels, clothes and first-aid supplies. Our family members from Kenora and Vancouver felt very welcome and relaxed at the lake side house, and hope to meet there again in the future.In short, a wonderful spot and well worth the cost.

The lakehouse's wonderful! Everything was as it was advertised online. The view and the amenities were both excellent. Me and my visiting family from our of the country had a great time. Also, Bruce and Sarah are the best hosts! We hope to visit again and will definitely recommend to others.

I had a peaceful stay at the Lake of the Woods Lakehouse in late August 2025. The house is perfect for enjoying views of the lake and relaxing after an afternoon exploring trails around Kenora. My family loved to have coffee and play cards on the upper deck. The walkout basement is convenient to access the backyard and water front. I would stay at the Lakehouse again if I were to vacation in the Kenora area.

Well appointed lake house.

My group of 6 persons enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It is located in Keewatin on the water with a with a hot tub and other nice features to make your stay enjoyable. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the property was as described.

Stunning

We were there for meeting and training over 3 days. The environment was amazing. Lots of space for when we needed to be together but also space to do your own thing. The sun rises and sun sets were stunning. The whole place was clean, comfortable and a real treat. Totally recommend

Perfect getaway!

The property itself was beautiful. Well kept and in a gorgeous setting. Sarah was wonderful to communicate with - friendly, helpful, and always prompt replies. The layout was great for our extended family - 7 adults, two children and an infant were all able to live and sleep comfortably in the space. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful stay, everything exceptional!

We had a lovely time at Sarah and Bruce’s property, from first contact to check out everything was seamless! The place is extremely clean and modern, and it really feels like a home. Location was central and was close to grocery stores, parks etc. The view of the waterfront was priceless and swimming off the dock was so easy. The hosts really made an effort to make us feel at home, thank you so much! I really couldn’t recommend this place more, we will be back soon!

Listing is as advertised. Well stocked home which is particularly welcome when you fly in. Best part if sitting on the dock listening to the waves and the loons. Peaceful and private.
