Could not have been better!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The location is perfect, the house was excellent, with wonderful beds and many thoughtful touches, especially in the kitchen, and Tod is an outstanding host. Highly recommended.

Chesterman Beach Paradise!

A charming place in the heart of Chesterman Beach and a short distance from downtown Tofino. Todd, the owner, was very friendly and attentive. He is very knowledgeable of the area, and gave us great advice for hiking and best restaurants. All the comforts of home with the beach at your front door. We had a lovely time and will definitely return.

Perfect. Just Perfect.

We just spent 3 days at this incredible property on Chesterman Beach in Tofino. It is an upscale experience in all ways from location to decor to Fairmount Mattresses, Italian Robes, comfortable seating everywhere with views of the surf, surfers and beach walkers with their dogs. The unit is cozy and bright and is suited to all kinds of weather. First time in Tofino. Hope to go back if Todd, the perfect host- will have us. Exceeded our expectations. Thankyou.

Tranquility in Tofino

The Ocean Breeze is a well-appointed, quiet and tranquil location with a fantastic view and direct access to Chesterman Beach in Tofino. Todd was an amazing host and made sure we had everything necessary to enjoy our stay.

Magical Spot!

This is exactly what two old friends who had not seen each other in years needed for a great getaway. Todd was attentive but respectful of our privacy and was a great host. If rest, relaxation, incredible natural beauty and well apointed upscale accommodation is your thing, then Ocean Breeze is for you!

Fall Getaway

This is our second stay in one of Todd's places, and it is such a pleasure to stay there. The space was lovely, comfortable, and clean. The location is amazing. You can see the beach and the waves from almost every seat inside and out, but there's still a lot of privacy. Todd is a wonderful host: warm, helpful, and friendly, but not invasive at all. We would 100% recommend staying in one of Todd's listings.

Spring Break Getaway

We traveled to Tofino with our adult daughters to spend time together. The property was immaculate and so very tastefully decorated. The beds were amazingly comfortable. There were nice touches everywhere - our youngest now wants a heated tile bathroom floor. The beach was amazing and I absolutely loved the walkway entrance and all the plants and natural decor. We loved this VRBO, the host was amazing and we hope to come back soon.

Beautiful January holiday

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful and very well-appointed property right on Chesterman Beach. It was the perfect getaway and the location was just what we were looking for. Todd was available for questions but we had the place all to ourselves. We look forward to our next stay.

If we could rate this 6 stars, we would!

We had such an incredible time staying at Todd and Linda’s place! The beachfront location is truly unbeatable, and the unit itself is gorgeous, spotless, and incredibly comfortable for our group of 4. A spa-like bathroom, plush robes, and multiple cozy spots for lounging allowed us to feel like we were at a beautiful retreat. The beds are next level comfortable and very inviting at the end of a long day of playing in the waves and exploring the area. We woke up every morning to a gorgeous ocean view and had our coffees in the sunroom while watching bald eagles fly to shore for breakfast. We had everything we needed to make meals at the unit, and even though there are great restaurants in town, it’s really hard to beat the view from the front deck. Todd and Linda were so kind and helpful, offering us great tips and ideas for the area. They made sure we had everything we needed and were fantastic, caring hosts. I wholeheartedly recommend booking this place!

Family Time and milestones Birthday Celebration

Ocean Breeze was a wonderful cozy retreat. Steps from the beach we that we walk, some surfed and others just chill out in front of the fireplace. Todd was very accommodating and helpful. Hope to be able to rent this property again.

Reconnect with the Past and Lay a Path to the Future

Awesome place, love the organic functional funkiness of the architecture, the natural patina on natural substrate, the view of the beach from the suite is priceless. The suite is so comfortable, well outfitted and so easily became the home away from home. As a host, Todd is attentive without being intrusive, and so flexible on aspects of the rental when we requested. We will be coming back someday for sure.

Only steps from the beach. Could see the waves from the suite. Very quiet and the place is like a cottage. Open space in the suite with a sun room. Beautiful bathroom with heated floors and comfortable beds. The Land lords were very nice.

We had an very relaxing and enjoyable mini vacation….just what we needed.

This is a first class property that is extremely well managed. Our host, Todd, friendly and professional, looked after anything we needed without being intrusive. The cottage was beautifully situated, clean, with many lovely “extras” such as ginger lemon handmade soaps from Salt Spring Island, aromatic bath salts, gourmet coffee beans, fresh cream, heated bathroom floor, and every kitchen utensil/gadget one could possibly desire. The large tiled shower and over sized tub were to die for, inclusive of bath gel, shampoo and rinse. We were steps from Chesterman Beach. All in all I’d say we had a little slice of heaven for five glorious days! So looking forward to returning next summer! Thank you Todd!

Better than Perfect!

Let’s talk about this ultimate relaxation getaway! Todd and Linda have set up the most incredible suite on Chesterman beach. The sun room was one of my favourite places to enjoy a coffee in the morning as the sun streamed through the huge windows. Only 30 steps away was the most beautiful beach you’ve ever been to. We had campfires every night and Todd would check in to make sure we were all good (honestly the best host I’ve ever had). Beach walks are MANDATORY here. The sunsets are so fantastic - it’s like the sun is melting into the ocean...poetry for the eyes. The suite was spotless, well maintained, has a huge bath and shower, and all of the amenities you would expect at a high end hotel. We cooked in the kitchen every night, and all the pots and pans, cutlery and plate-ware was onsite. I recommend bringing a non-breakable cup from home for your libations on the beach. Also, stock up on firewood!! It really felt like a home away from home and we will definitely be back to visit. Thank you Todd and Linda for a spectacular weekend, see you again soon!! :)

Breathtakingly beautiful!!

I'm still in the afterglow of such an amazing mini-vacay. The views, the accommodations were perfect! It truly is a sacred place. The little atrium was a great way to watch the storms - and the storm season in Tofino never disappoints!

Beautiful Oasis on the Beach

This is our second time staying at Todd's cottages and we cannot say enough great things! The location is fantastic, just steps to the beach, a 3-minute drive to Tacofino and coffee/ice cream, and a 10-minute drive to town. The cottage itself had everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast in the morning and plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets. The beds were super comfortable and the sunroom was such a great bonus space to hang out. When we come back to Tofino, we will absolutely look to stay here again!

Beautiful place - perfect location

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and everything you need is there. Including raincoats and boots. Todd is lovely to deal with and the location could not be better..... The sun room is an absolute dream.

Tranquil retreat

This was the most peaceful property....a quiet, wooded oasis next to the ocean. The waves just lull you to sleep! Beautiful in its simplicity.

Perfection!

We relaxed, we relaxed, we relaxed. Didn't even go out to eat and could not have enjoyed ourselves more unless we had stayed longer. There's a 2 minute walk to the beach... if you meander slowly. Chesterman Beach is by far our favorite go-to BC beach. We'll be back. Thanks Todd!
