Welcome to Sugar Tree Hollow! Unwind in the Hollow, where the trails meet the river. The rustic Sugar Tree Hollow Cabin is nestled among the trees on a secluded 136 acres with Niangua River Access for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. On-site activities include a private recreational center with indoor pickleball, ping pong, a pool table and much more! There are trails for hiking and UTV riding. It is approx. 25 min. from Bennett Spring state park, 30 min. from Pomme de Terre Lake, 35 min. from Ball Park National, and a 35-minute drive to Springfield, Mo.
This rustic retreat offers breathtaking views and a chance to enjoy the tranquility of nature. With so much to do on the property, you can unplug and enjoy time with family and friends while making lasting memories.
Explore the multiple trails on this 136-acre property and river access for kayaking, fishing, or swimming. Sit back and relax at the firepit area or on the deck or patio. This property also features a private recreational building that is perfect for family fun. It has indoor pickle ball, ping pong, foosball, cornhole and more! Ideal for families, couples, or friends, it's the perfect peaceful getaway. It sleeps 9 guests comfortably with an additional two queen sized sofa beds for up to 13 guests.


The Space:

Whether you're here to unwind, explore, or enjoy some quality time with loved ones, this rustic retreat has everything you need for a memorable stay. You will enter this property on a peaceful, winding, private drive that leads to the cabin and a separate, private, recreational building.


THE CABIN:

The front patio of the cabin offers two lounge chairs for a chance to sit and relax outside. This is also where you will find the propane BBQ grill with propane provided.

Living Area/Kitchen/Dining: When you enter the cabin you will find a cozy living room area with a Roku Smart TV. There is a couch that pulls out into a queen sofa-bed and a love seat. (You can find the bedding for the sofa-bed in the Master bedroom closet.) The space features a well-equipped kitchen with pots and pans, dishes, an air fryer, toaster, crockpot and a fully stocked coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker. The adjacent dining area is perfect for family dinners.

Master Suite Bedroom #1: The cabins spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed. You will find a pool table, a 65-inch Roku Smart TV, a wood burning fire stove, an additional couch to nestle in and read a good book, and a walk-in closet with extra bedding for the two sofa beds. There is an additional table with seating for 6, that can be used for family games! There is a large bookshelf where you can find a vast array of board/card games as well as reading material for anyone that wants to relax and read a good book. There is also a dedicated workspace area with a desk.

Bunk Bedroom #2: This room is just off of the master bedroom and has a twin over full sized bunk bed with a nightstand and a bench to put your luggage. It can sleep up to 3.

Full Bathroom #1: This bathroom has a shower, a single vanity, and plenty of drawer space to store your belongings.

Laundry Room: The laundry room is fully equipped for your convenience, offering laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your use during your stay. You will find the smore roasting sticks on the shelf above the washer and dryer.

OUTDOOR FIREPIT AREA:

There is a firepit area in front of the cabin where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Hot dog/smore roasting sticks and wood are provided, as well as outdoor seating for 8+.

RECREATIONAL BUILDING:

One of the things that makes this property so unique is that it has its own private rec building that features a deck with two rocking chairs, perfect to sit outside and relax.

Ground Level:

On the main level you will find an indoor pickleball court, foosball table and corn hole! There are two tables for games like checkers or cards. It also has an additional refrigerator.

Full Bathroom #2: The bathroom is located on the ground level. It has a shower, a single vanity, and plenty of drawers for storing your belongings.

Rec Building Downstairs:

Game Room: The game room is an additional place for family fun with a ping pong table, darts, and a 65-inch Roku Smart TV with a Nintendo Wii! There is also a couch which has another queen-sized sofa bed in this area that can sleep two.

Bedroom #3: Bedroom #3 is located just off of the game room and has a queen-sized bed, a nightstand, and a dresser. It features its own heating and air unit with a remote control to achieve the perfect air temperature for a peaceful night's sleep.

Bedroom #4: Bedroom #4 is located just off of the game room and has a king-sized bed, two nightstands and a cabinet for placing your luggage. It also has its own heating and air unit with a remote control to achieve optimal sleeping temperature for a good night's rest.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:

When you are ready to get out in nature, make your way down the path, to a beautiful bottom field with wildlife viewing opportunities and attached river access where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, or kayaking. Please bring your own fishing poles and swim gear. Kayaks are available upon request and for an additional fee. On the other side of the field is a large, wooded area where you will find peaceful hiking trails and a chance to enjoy nature for a total combined acreage of 136 acres! We have a UTV that seats four and that is available for rent you can use this to take the river trail from the cabin.

-NO pets allowed in any of the buildings. If we find that you have broken any of these rules we can ask you to vacate the property without a refund.

-MUST be 21 years or older to rent the UTV

This is a rural cabin surrounded by nature. Please be aware that we have everything nature has to offer here, from bugs to wildlife. If you are looking for a secluded spot to enjoy nature, then this is the place for you! This is the perfect place to get away, relax, and enjoy time with your family and friends! Having the location that it does, there are many other fun outings withing a short drive.

Please be advised that the river levels fluctuate throughout the year. The river bottom has the potential to flood during periods of heavy rain.
