With covered porches on three sides, trails through the fields and woods, a fully stocked updated kitchen, private dining room, two living spaces, a private screened porch on the second floor and so many sleeping spaces. This is the perfect destination for a family gathering, quiet couples getaway, girls glamping weekend or even a work retreat.
If you get tired of too much nature (not possible) you are a short distance from several local wineries, state parks, and restaurants!

Relaxing stay for multigenerational family

Property was as advertised. Hosts were helpful and responsive. Plenty of outside and inside space to play games and relax. The walk-in shower was great feature for guest with mobility challenges!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Even better than the pictures if that’s even possible. So many things to do. Breathtaking views. Communication was amazing and everything was amply stocked especially the kitchen. We brought so much of our own stuff for the stay since we didn’t know what all they had but realized we would have been fine. I knowSome posts said there wasn’t a bathroom downstairs. There is now, it must have been recently added. We stayed here for our wedding weekend and took lots of getting ready photos here. Family and friends said they will definitely be booking the place for their own vacations/ girl weekends as well. We definitely will be back!

Lovely large home & property

This property was great for our ladies game weekend! Plenty of beds, great accommodations, host was communicative, and the views were amazing.

Great stay for a Farmington golf getaway!

Great property layout, with the pond and fire pit to keep the group under the stars in the evenings. Lots of sleeping space in the house but could have used a bathroom on the lower level where many people slept. Overall a nice secluded spot to hang out with the boys.

Great Experience

We hosted a two day grad party and it was perfect. It held the entire group and overall a great experience. As other reviews mention the basement (where almost all guest slept) didn't have a bathroom so not ideal but we made it work. My only suggestion would be some fans downstairs as it does get stuffy as the days progress. Even with the bathroom situation (we just all shared) it is such a terrific property...isolated, clean and the property manager was excellent.

Perfect Girls Getaway

This is the perfect place for a girl’s trip or family getaway! The property is gorgeous with lots of room for outdoor activities. If the weather doesn’t permit, the house is spacious and filled with activities such as board games, instruments if your family or friends are musically inclined, books, and television. The check in and checkout process was smooth, and the host was very responsive when we had questions. We left with all 11 in our group wanting to return each year to this perfect property. We loved it!

We found this property to be exactly as advertised. The Host was very helpful and responsive. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and simple.It’s very secluded and the surrounding acreage is beautiful. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the back porch and the small pond was great for catch & release fishing.We liked the large kitchen which had a good-sized island with a smooth granite countertop and six bar stools. The Living room had two nice couches and two chairs that allowed for group gatherings throughout the day and night. And the Dining room had a large table with bench seating to accommodate several people.The front porch is long enough and wide enough for several chairs. The back porch has a beautiful view, nice couches and a large table for outdoor dining! We also enjoyed seeing a Bald Eagle out back and watching a storm roll in one evening.The host provides lots of clean towels, hand soap in every bathroom, and paper towels in the kitchen. These were all a nice touch. Also, nice was a great selection of toys, books, games and coloring supplies.There is one bathroom/shower that is open to all guests, the other two are enclosed within a bedroom, leaving limited privacy for the bedroom occupants. Not ideal, but we made it work as we were all family.Our wish list for this country cabin would include a nice sandy beach at the pond. We feel this would greatly enhance the experience for all families especially those with small children and toddlers.

Lovely cabin with excellent seclusion and room to stretch out

We rented this cabin for a long float trip weekend for our large family and thoroughly enjoyed it from all aspects. It isn't a brand new cabin, but has been recently updated with modern fixtures and furnishings, so it was a pleasant stay that lent well to cooking our own meals and enjoying downtime. We are an outdoor family and loved the exclusion, with no views of the neighbors and plenty of space for outdoor games, cooking out, hanging by the small pond, etc. There was plenty of room to sleep 20 guests (as long as a few of them really like each other!)...and for the most part, it was set up really well for a large family gathering. The biggest complaint is that there is only 1 bathroom/shower that is open to all guests...the other two are enclosed within a bedroom, leaving no privacy for the bedroom occupants (we still had to use them since we had so many in our group). It would be great if a bathroom could be added to the lower/basement level where many of the bedrooms are. Host communication was excellent, service excellent, overall we really enjoyed the cabin and the experience and would definitely rent again. I just wish it was closer to the better float rivers to the west (although the Black River floats were only an hour away and beautiful!). Thank you for offering your cabin!

We chose this area because of its privacy and seclusion from our day-to-day lives in the city. Even though our home is very private, it is only 15 minutes to Farmington which offers all the conveniences for your stay.

The sprawling home on private land. The home overlooks a beautiful valley of pristine greenery, surrounded by undeveloped land. The home is unique because it offers all the convenience and comfort of a fully-renovated modern home, in a country setting.
