The place was charming enough. The host was responsive, in the sense that I always got a response, but I did not always get the answers I was looking for. The tub was clogged and I wasn’t able to shower the last day of our stay.

The location was very convenient to the subway and the area felt safe. We had the whole upstairs which was perfect for our family of 6. I texted back and forth with the host and she answered almost immediately. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals on the trip. There was also a complimentary bottle of wine and bag of chips waiting for us on arrival which was incredibly thoughtful. All and all, a great stay.

Host changed the location of the property on the day of arrival. I chose the advertised property because it was within 1 mile of my daughter’s apartment and closer to Manhattan. The new location was additional 20 minutes away from both my daughter’s place and Manhattan. I was very disappointed and felt scammed but since the host didn’t tell me until the day of check in there were no other places available.

Home was clean and the host was readily available and communicated well. There were no snacks or coffee pods, as shown in the pictures, so I am glad I brought a few k-cups. The neighborhood was nice. I would stay here again.

Our host’s broiler was not working, and she quickly reimbursed my stay and continued to send daily updates. There were many blankets and we had a space saver unit to keep us warm. this brownstone is showcased perfectly and weAdored our stay. And my toddler wanted to move in!Thank you, miss Ashely.

The place was stunning. The high ceilings and decorations made the place one-of-a-kind. Ashley was fast to respond to my questions before the and during our stay. Only wished it was warmer to be able to use the hammock on the balcony. So cool! Would love to stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay in Ashley’s charming Brooklyn brownstone. The home was comfortable and perfectly sized for the three of us (my husband, adult son, and me). The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a single with plenty of space and privacy for our family.The location was very convenient, situated between several places we wanted to visit. The multicultural neighborhood has a real community feel with families and school buses during the week. As expected in this part of Brooklyn, there’s steady traffic, but it quiets down nicely on weekdays, the weekend was busy. We loved having bagel shops, grocery stores, and delis all within easy walking distance.Ashley was an excellent host - responsive, kind, and quick to address any issue that came up. Communication was outstanding (5 stars!). The front door gate was a little tricky at first, but we quickly got the hang of it.The only small note we’d share is that a strongly scented candle was lit in the foyer when we arrived, which filled the entire unit (including the upstairs where we stayed). It dissipated after a couple of days and once we opened windows and the balcony door. But for those with fragrance sensitivities or allergies may want to be aware.Overall, we had a wonderful time in this character-filled brownstone and loved our week in Brooklyn and NYC!

What a fantastic last-minute find! This place has so much character besides the fact that it is very spacious and warming. It exceeded our expectations and made our short Brooklyn girls trip, even more memorable!Ashley was quick with responding and so sweet to talk to! The apartment was clean and inviting. The porch was relaxing. There were plenty of blankets and pillows to use. The second bedroom is a cute room with a bed for 1. The extra places to sleep aside from the 2 bedrooms are 2 couches and blow up mattresses that are stored in the closets. We had 5 of us total and we were comfortable for our 1 night stay.

I have never stayed at a VRBO in New York. The place was clean and quite spacious. Most of my other stays have been private places. It threw me off at first when I realized there were people in the apartment downstairs. But there never seemed to be any issues as we were busy working while we were in Brooklyn anyway. It was a great place to lay our heads at the end of the night.
