Villa Bonheur is a stylish single-level villa with a private pool in a quiet, rural setting near Oud Lagoen. You overlook the untouched “mondi” landscape and enjoy a spacious garden, covered porch, and balcony. Inside, there’s a comfortable living area with open kitchen and three bedrooms with king-size beds. It’s an ideal base to explore Bonaire and fully unwind again after an active day on the island.

Villa Bonheur is a detached villa in the Oud Lagoen area, offering 180 m² of living space and views over the “mondi”, the local term for untouched natural landscape. Top Supermarket is 2.9 kilometers away, Isidel Beach Park 4 kilometers, restaurant It Rains Fishes 3.2 kilometers and dive center Dive Friends Hamlet 5 kilometers. In the private garden you’ll find a regular outdoor pool exclusively for guests, perfect for cooling off after a day out on the island.

As a guest of Villa Bonheur you have access to the entire property, including all three bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the living room with open kitchen and the outdoor areas such as the private garden, covered porch and balcony. The private pool and parking spaces on the premises and on the street are also fully at your disposal. To warmly welcome our guests and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we arrange all arrivals in person! The Sunwise hosts of the property will coordinate your arrival with you.

Villa Bonheur in Oud Lagoen is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can explore every corner of the island at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local eateries. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and can be rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Check-in is from 3PM and check-out by 10AM. Early or late check-in and check-out may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Villa Bonheur!
