Welcome to The Nest – The Hottest New Accommodation at Waihi Beach!
Looking for a getaway that’s as unique as you are? The Funky Escape at The Nest is a vibrant retreat where nature meets comfort, and every corner is bursting with personality. Tucked away amongst the trees in a peaceful, private, secluded spot, it’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect and escape the ordinary.
With sustainability at its heart, we’ve created a space that boasts all the comforts of home, but with a twist.
Enjoy outdoor cooking and dining in all-weather under the massive, covered deck.
Have a soak in his and hers outdoor baths under the stars.
Enjoy the warmth and toast marshmallows over the fire pit.
Spot eels in the pond, Morepork in the trees and explore "The Forest", climbing a tree if you feel adventurous or relax and listen to the birdsong.
The Funky Cabins at The Nest feature:
- 2 cozy bedrooms (1 Queen bed and either 2 singles or a Super king on request).
- Comfy double fold-out couch in the lounge.
- Open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area.
- 2 bathrooms including two toilets, one shower and laundry.
- Unlimited WIFI, sound bar and projector.
- Outdoor shower, outdoor baths, outdoor kitchen, and seating galore.
- Fire pit.
- Huge covered deck.
- Plenty of space for outdoor games, tents or a camper/boat with outdoor power and water access.
Just a short walk to the beach, and even shorter walk to Waihi Beach Village cafes and shops, it’s the perfect spot to unwind without missing out on the action. No TV here, we’re all about connection, but we’ve got unlimited Wi-Fi and a projector with HDMI and a bluetooth soundbar/sub for your beats, movie nights or the big game.
The entire space is available for use both indoors and out, including a generous grassed area and "The Forest" across the footbridge. We just ask you to respect the property and the land for others to enjoy after you.
All bedding, bath towels, liquid soap, shampoo & conditioner is provided. Please byo beach towels.
