Everything was great! Sounds dumb, but the little things are what matters to us when we are traveling- comfy pillows, towels and TP :) :) we loved our stay, amazing location, very clean and beach was great. And we LOVED the tortoises!!!

We had a lovely stay in this great condo. The location was great with the access to the beach right outside our door. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Our host sent us ideas on things to do in the area as well as recommendations for good restaurants in the area. She checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. It was a great getaway to a lovely island.

We had a great visit to Amelia Island and the condo was perfect for our group of 4. Very spacious with 2 kings was a huge plus. Took my 80-year-old parents so no steps to the beach was also a selling point. Easy access and great communication with Brenda throughout the entire process. Her restaurant reviews were spot on and we all agreed not a bad meal was had the entire week. Cute island town and we would definitely stay at this condo again!

My friend and I had a FABULOUS stay here. The 2 master suites provided privacy and one bedroom had a view of the ocean. The living room also had the same view and we saw stunning sunrises. The Condo was VERY Clean and had all the comforts of home. Having the beach just steps away for strolling after dinner - AMAZING! Staying at his property elevated our vacation. And the host is incredibly responsive.If I ever visit Amelia Island again, this VRBO property will be the only choice I consider. It couldn’t have been better.

We could not have picked a better spot for our week stay. Close to golf and right on the beach. Although we had no issues during our stay, the owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We loved walking out the back door and the beach was right there as well as the beautiful sunrises from the patio! Highly recommend this condo to any family!

Ameila Island Treasure

We were specifically looking for a pet friendly ground level condo because our senior pup has hip dysplasia. We normally prefer a balcony for the view, but this GEM was perfect. The community is above the sand dunes, so there is a view of the ocean from the patio, the ocean can be heard, and it's only a 2 minute walk to the beach with NO STEPS! It was so nice to just drop our beach chairs/stuff on the covered patio. Brenda was a wonderful host/owner. We look forward to returning again sooner than later, even though our pup will not be with us. The condo was comfortable, well decorated, and has a coziness to it. The rooms were larger than expected and it was nice to have two King beds. Also, this was the first time we stayed on the south side of the island, better restaurants, love the spa at the Ritz, and wider beach...not over crowded. If you book a chair or umbrella rental, I suggest youi ask for as far from the boardwalk as possible...we had someone park their tent 20' in front us.

Fantastic stay - perfect location and a condo that felt like home

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach with easy access. We loved the local wildlife, seeing the resident gopher tortoises and spotting rabbits in the dunes.The condo itself was thoughtfully laid out and very well appointed, with everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. It was the perfect setup for us. We also really appreciated the Brenda's local restaurant recommendations and communication to let us know how to reach her if something came up. Overall, a great experience - we’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation

This property is exactly how it is listed. Beautiful, clean condo with all the essentials you may need. Only steps to the beach. Brenda did such an amazing job with all the information we received. From initial booking, to recommendations on restaurants to local attractions , she covered it all. She was quick to respond with any texts I sent. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent!

We spent Thanksgiving week at the condo with our shih tzu. The unit was very clean and came with everything needed to spend a week there. The location is on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the ocean, and a ramp to get to the ocean. Summer Beach community is in a very quiet area, and easy to get to the trails for walking, as well as shopping. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Condo!

Condo was beautiful! Pictures of the condo are accurate. I liked the coded door so there was no key or card to keep up with. Fully stocked. Plenty of nice linens for both bathrooms. Very clean! Beds were very comfortable. Nice parking. Area is beautiful. Pet friendly. Nice walking areas around condo. Only drawback was the walk to the beach. The dunes in this area are very large. There is a nice Trex walkover but at the end is a large sand hill on both sides. So if you are elderly or have health issues the walk down to the beach and back up can be a challenge. The best thing we did was rent umbrellas & chairs from Riptides the last day we were there. Instead of trying to carrying them ourselves down to the beach. Riptides set them up @ 7:45 a.m. & didn't take them down until 5:00 p.m. So much easier for us older folks! Awesome communication with the owner Brenda Jackson! She text the morning after arrival to check in on us & to see if everything was ok. I appreciated that!

Robert and I are semi-retired and own three properties on Amelia Island. Robert grew up in Jacksonville, so he was somewhat familiar with the Island, but we both really fell it love with it when we visited in the early 90's. We loved it so much, we would drive from Atlanta every other weekend - getting here late on Friday night and leaving for home early Sunday afternoon. When we crossed that bridge to the Island, it always felt like coming home. Our dream was to someday be able to make the Island our home. In 2002, we finally realized that dream and moved here! We have three condos on Amelia Island - a 3 bedroom/2bath condo at Forest Ridge, a 2BR/2BA in Summer Beach Village (Sailmaker) and a 2BR/2BA Amelia Landings "Treehouse". We thoroughly enjoy managing our condos and we have met so many wonderful people. We do our best to make our condos special for our guests - a place they would like to come often. Some have even gotten the itch to move here, too! We highly recommend it!

Ground floor with fabulous views of the ocean. Grilling is allowed on ground floor and charcoal grill is provided. We (the owners) spend lots of time caring for our unit and our guests. Each bedroom has its own private bath and each bedroom is separated by the living area - giving maximum privacy. Portable crib is included at no cost if needed. HD TV with lots of stations. Free hi-speed WiFi. No carpet - very clean.
