Downtown Brooklyn is also the site of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, a cutting edge arts complex, and it's an easy walk to the foot of the famous Brooklyn Bridge. The neighborhood is served by several subway lines and bus routes, making it easy to get to Manhattan and the city's other boroughs.
