Acerca de este alojamiento
Architect Designed home /Private sub-Division / Private Cape Bay Beach Access
Architect-designed private home in exclusive, Private Bay Village North Truro Subdivision- with Private beach access to Cape Cod Bay. Home includes new 2024/5 ALL TREX decks, stairs and Outdoor shower… with several high visibility outdoor decks with stainless steel-wire, railing system, new outdoor illuminated Sun umbrella with USB connection.
One of North Truro's finest properties has both water and scenic landscape views from rooms and decks on an extensively landscaped and grassed lawn great for croquet, cornhole toss game, playing catch, or simply hanging out reading in the hammock under a pine tree.
Pristine, beautifully maintained and graciously appointed with full amenities for discriminating and caring guests. Wrap around, elevated and furnished decks extend the home's spaces beyond the glass sliders in all directions. Rewards are the exceptional Truro ''light,'' spectacular, memorable, sunrises and sunsets, sighting an occasional whale in the bay, or beach views of blues and stripper schools. Our Twine Field location is a special historic place itself, where the early Truro fishermen and wives repaired their nets.
This home is located at the ''wrist'' of the outer Cape. The distance from ocean to bay is 3 miles with easy access to both National Seashore beaches and the gentle Bay beaches. The house has its own private Bay Village deeded beach 300 yards from our door to the Baywater’s edge.
The kitchen includes some new appliances, glass top range with two ovens (one full and a pizza oven) with a microwave above. Cook's kitchen has coffee maker, toaster oven, waffle iron, Cuisinart, blender, electric mixer, lobster pot, propane lobster boiler for outdoor use, abundant pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, silverware, glassware, stemware, and gas grill on ground level patio also with its own sun umbrella, table and chairs.
House is HEPA cleaned seasonally, and fully air conditioned with clear-story windows to allow for cool breezes during hot weather stretches. Several multi-level ceiling fans also available to circulate air, if needed. Many walk-out sliders out to decks surround both the lower and top floors. Large redwood umbrella table outside kitchen with its own lighting. One upper BR has slider to its own small deck. Den and a lower bedrooms have sliders to ground level access as well.
Walking distance to Grozier Sq, SALTY'S Market (sandwiches, wines, newspapers, coffee, baked goods, milk and produce). There is also a friendly and good fish restaurant with both inside/outside eating, the bus to P-Town, and the pond where the Pilgrims spent their first night on the Cape. (Easy to grab a newspaper, a coffee or drink at Salty's and sit by the Pond to start a day.)
The local Post Office, N. Truro library, Senior Center and fabulous playground are less than 1/2 mile away. If you can, the dedicated and maintained bike trails are scenic and wonderfully maintained. Highland Links (golf with ocean views), the famous Highland Lighthouse, and the Truro Historical Museum should not be missed. Ocean beaches are 3 miles from our private Cape bay beach. National Seashore beaches along the outer Cape are plentiful and several with their local programs are in P-town and also throughout the Outer Cape…. You can also enjoy the ocean in the morning and the bay in the afternoon, and don't forget the many local ponds- some for swimming.
Our home offers the maximum of multi -generational privacy. The lower level has it's own entrances, two twin-bedded rooms and a den with large TV. The expansive yard, the barbecue patio and the outside shower can be accessed from this level and also from the deck steps. The upper level is the family area. It is surrounded by walk- out furnished decks. There is a small loft area above that is ideal for
gatherings, reading, computer space, or an inside getaway.
We are 20 minutes from Wellfleet, with all it's art galleries, restaurants, and shops, flea market, cinemas (one drive-in,) a most scenic small boat pier, harbor (with live theater), and the nearby WHAT theater at the Julie Harris Performance Center and also, a local wild-bird sanctuary. On the way there from our home are many other restaurants and interesting places to stop and see. The Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill has an excellent art school offering many summer classes and programs. The N.Truro Vineyard has tours, wine tasting, the library has lectures and performances, as does the Truro Town Commons… and a Monday Farmers Market.
P-town is six miles from our door. It's walkable along the bay beach if you plan it by the tides. Whale watches, fishing boats, The Province Lands Information Center (and Museum), live theater, cinemas, musicals, gay life, art museum, galleries, antique shops and street performers abound. It is a foodies dream town. It has great beaches, great fishing, bicycle trails, Art's Dune Tours.
