Return home & cozy up in the hammock with a drink then play a game of Corn Hole or YARDZEE while your dinner is on the grill. Hotel-like accommodations + the space of a home = your favorite desert retreat.
THE LOCATION
Desert Ridge Retreat is located 1-2 blocks from major attractions such as Desert Ridge Marketplace, the JW Marriott, and the Musical Instrument Museum. It is right down the road from the Mayo Clinic and less than a 10 minute drive to Waste Management Phoenix Open, Barrett Jackson, and WestWorld of Scottsdale. It is in a convenient location to attend various Spring Training games, attempt numerous hikes at McDowell Mountain Regional Park or play birdie golf at Boulders, TPC, or Westin Kierland. Only 15 minutes from your hard working grad student at Midwestern University and easy to hop on the I-17 to take a day trip to Sedona or Flagstaff. Upon entering the Desert Ridge Retreat by keyless entry, you will notice a large, open concept with a split floor plan and beautiful view into the breathtaking backyard. Natural light fills the kitchen, dining, and living areas. You will find the kitchen stocked with all necessary cooking amenities and staple items as well as tea and coffee (both drip and single serve).
In the living room, the comfy, reclining sectional will call your name to cozy up and watch a TV show on the 65 inch Smart TV (log into your own account to access apps) with surround sound. If you are in town for business or need to study, use the desk which is stocked with paper, pens, and pencils and super fast WiFi. Each bed is welcoming with soft, white linens and duvet covers and your choice of soft or firm pillows.
A sliding glass door off of the living room leads out to the large backyard with outdoor sofa, hammock, pergola with seating, table for dining al fresco, Weber gas grill, and beautiful outdoor lighting. There is a washer & dryer that you are welcome to use, as well as the garage.
BRIGHT & WHITE STOCKED KITCHEN
This bright kitchen is stocked with all that you need to make a family meal. White cabinets, granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and refrigerator with ice-maker. Everything is provided from silverware to cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, and cocktail glasses, Keurig Duo for drip or single serve coffee, electric kettle, toaster, blender crockpot, serving platters, and more. The adjacent dining area has a round glass table and extra table and chairs available for friends.

This home is fully furnished with white linens, plenty of soft towels, and extra pillows and blankets. It is stocked with cooking essentials such as olive oil, spices, salt & pepper, coffee, and tea. Forget toiletries? Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, razors, toothbrush, and toothpaste.
**Minimal paper products (toilet paper and paper towels), laundry, and dish detergent will be available for your stay. If you book a long stay, plan to purchase necessary items for yourself**

Each guest will be provided with their own access code for keyless entry.
Our neighborhood is visitor-friendly. You can park in our 2-car driveway at all hours or on the street during the day and evening, but not over night.

This was my first home so I have a lot of fond memories and it holds a special place in my heart. The area is so convenient and there are many things to do within walking or in a short drive.

This property is perfect for families with young children as well as groups of people coming to a work conference, golfing, and going to the Mayo Clinic for appointments. The backyard is very peaceful and comfortable. The home is clean and cozy and makes you feel at home.
