Wonderful place!

We loved our stay in this cute, clean, recently renovated apartment, it has everything you need! We walked to ACL concert with short distance to Zilker Park. Clean, safe, easy to get to diners for breakfast. 100% recommend this as your stay in Austin!

Just about perfect

Lovely place ,super clean , lots of natural light , quiet , and just about anything you would need is available . Well done VRBO for sure. Only thing missing was screens in the windows but I guess it’s the time of year with less bugs , so we opened windows anyway .

The space was amazing, super clean, and had everything you could possibly need for not just a quick weekend trip, but a long term stay! The host was easy to reach when needed and very helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and feels super safe. A local coffee shop, restaurant, and small grocery are all within walking distance, but the rest of downtown ATX is a really quick max 10 min car ride away

Fun Football Weekend

Wonderful Place

This was a wonderful place to stay! The photos were a very accurate representation of the place, it was clean, private, safe and extremely comfortable. I would live here if I lived in Austin. The host was also amazing - very communicative, hospitable and easy to get in touch with. Everything about this place and the host was five-star impressive. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect weekend

This apartment was perfect for us. It is in a great neighborhood, with many restaurants easily walkable and downtown and UT only a couple of miles away. Everything was new and clean. There is lots of natural light and also plenty of fixtures, unlike most hotel rooms. Because the apartment sits on a detached garage, it was very quiet. Street parking was free and easy. The owner was extremely responsive. We plan to return!

Absolutely perfect spot for a couple visiting Austin!

This apartment was a delight and perfectly suited for a couple spending three days in Austin. It is pristinely clean, private, and quiet, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you might need (including a very comfortable bed!). A second-floor garage studio apartment, it has a lovely and peaceful treehouse feel (not to mention there’s an actual and very cool treehouse right next to it in the backyard). The location was ideal—it’s located in a very quiet and central neighborhood only a few blocks from w. 6th street, from North Lamar/downtown, and close to a grocery store, cute coffee shops (Caffe Medici, Better Half) and great restaurants (Josephine House, Galaxy Café, Sweetish Hill Bakery, to name a few). On top of everything, the owner was very friendly and communication was great. Everything about it was smooth and enjoyable. We loved staying here and would absolutely not hesitate to come again. Thank you!!!

Clarksville apartment

Stayed 4 days for a college reunion in Austin. Wonderful studio apartment, even better than the photos. Owner was very responsive yet respectful of my privacy. Everything you need is there. It is clean and modern. The bed is very comfy. Neighborhood is quiet. I loved this place and will definitely come back.

Amazing and perfect

This little apartment is private, clean, and close to downtown. It is separate from the house and very quite. It has all the tools needed for cooking full meals. The layout is very comfortable and feels spacious for a studio. The entire neighborhood is darling and quite. There are electric scooters all over the downtown so you don't necessarily need a rental car. We visited for Paleofx at the Palmer event center and it only took about 10 mins to get there even in traffic.

Clarksville classic

The unit was just as the photos depicted it to be. Very clean and well appointed down to the towels and bed linens. Location was outstanding for accessing downtown, the capitol and UT campus. The neighborhood restaurants recommended by our hosts were all very unique and appealing. The local old school grocery store and drug store with soda fountain were pleasant finds as well. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful studio in great neighborhood!

My wife and I were in Austin for a wedding and this studio apartment was in a great location! We walked down to the river and to local bars and restaurants with ease. The studio itself was immaculate with new and modern furniture, had everything we needed including coffee and a water filter, there was even a washer and dryer which came in handy! The neighborhood was quiet and Ted and his family were so nice. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay close to downtown.

LOVED it!

This studio apartment was perfect for a weekend getaway exploring Austin! With an ideal location right in the middle of everything, we could easily access downtown with its popular restaurants and bars or quickly hop on the highway nearby to find hiking trails and vineyards. The surrounding neighborhood is super cute and feels safe. The space was beautiful and clean, and on top of everything else the owners were extremely nice and accommodating! We would definitely recommend!

perfect little spot

we couldn’t have stayed at a better location or sized place! this was the absolute cutest little apartment and was so perfect for our stay. it was new, spacious and fit all of our needs. we were able to walk to different places for lunch and explore austin while also being just a short drive to the city. the owners were also extremely accommodating. if we need to, we will definitely book here again!

AMAZING! Brand new, clean, PERFECT location!

This studio is brand new and very spacious. I live in NYC so to me it felt like a castle! All the appliances are new, furniture is comfy and cozy. It's in Clarksville with restaurants, grocery store and local coffee shop just blocks away. Perfect spot if you are visiting the college or in town for SXSW. It's a true HIDDEN GEM!!!

My wife and I bought restored the main house and built the garage and apartment in 2011. We have three kids who all enjoy traveling and more often than not we prefer to stay in vacation rentals over hotels. So we feel like we have a pretty good idea of what we've liked and didn't like. We love Austin and love sharing it with friends and guests.

I first moved to the Old West Austin Neighborhood in 1997 and have been here ever since. We had outgrown another house three blocks away, and when this property went on the market, we jumped at the chance to buy it. It's one of the larger lots in the neighborhood which has allowed us to build the carport and apartment as a secondary source of income.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This location is amazing because it is close it is to downtown (the Capitol Building is one mile away!) yet it still feels quiet and secluded -- especially in the garage apartment. We love this neighborhood with all its charming bungalows, walkable streets, nearby restaurants, and our elementary school just a 10 minute walk away.
