Walking distance to multiple beaches this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is your perfect retreat. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on Hay Beach Point, it’s the ideal setting for relaxation, beach walks and quality time by the cozy fireplace. Pet friendly with a fenced in backyard.
Inside You’ll Find:
• A bright, open-concept living area with wood-burning fireplace
• 3 cozy bedrooms: 1 queen, 1 full, and one with 2 twin beds
• 2 full bathrooms one with tub and shower and one stall shower.
• Sofa bed in living room + futon in basement playroom for extra guests
•Fast wifi and fully equipped kitchen.
Outside & Extras:
• Expansive yard with fire pit – perfect for evening s’mores
• Playroom & fitness space in basement
• Beach gear, and toys for kids included
• Peaceful neighborhood, great for nature lovers
Whether you’re exploring the island’s quiet beaches, enjoying a backyard BBQ, or riding bikes. this home offers the space and comfort to unwind. I live in an apartment on the property so I’m available if an emergency arises. I will always respect your privacy. This is a family oriented neighborhood please no parties. Addition guests beyond 6 there will be a hundred per person charge.

We chose Hay Beach Point because it’s one of Shelter Island’s best-kept secrets — peaceful, safe, and just steps from some of the island’s most beautiful beaches. It’s the kind of neighborhood where kids can safely ride bikes, neighbors wave hello, and you can hear the breeze rustling through the trees at night. We fell in love with the calm, walkable streets and the close-knit, laid-back atmosphere. Whether we’re taking a morning walk to the beach, watching the sunset, or enjoying a backyard fire pit with the kids, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and just enjoy being together.

Our home is designed with families in mind. From the open-concept living area to the backyard fire pit, everything invites relaxation and connection. The basement playroom and fitness space give kids and parents their own places to unwind, while the included bikes, beach gear, and toys mean you can pack light and still have fun. We’ve hosted multi-generational families, groups of friends, and couples looking for a quiet getaway — and they all tell us the same thing: it feels like home. The house has a cozy, welcoming charm that’s hard to put into words — but easy to feel when you walk through the door.
