Sitting at 1500 feet above the valley is perched a quiet, and peaceful sanctuary. Epic view of the Columbia River Valley with Mount Hood and the City of Portland in the background.

Venture to visit downtown Kalama, the river beach, shopping, food. Near by Mount St Helens area is right behind you. 45 minutes from Vancouver and Portland areas.

This private apartment is completely separated from the owners house. Enjoy mountain living with still being close to I-5 corridor for recreation opportunities.

Enjoy a peaceful quite stay. Enjoy the views and relax.

This place was absolutely breathtaking! The views ohhhh the views! The place was stocked with everything you could need, super clean, private and brand new. I really have no words as this place left me speechless! I will be back and I have others asking to get the info so they can stay, it was just that amazing!Matt & Leslie thank you so much for having us and your place is magical!

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts are wonderful and communicate quickly. The Eagle's Nest is well appointed and I really love the layout. Many convenient spices if you wanted to cook. The view is absolutely stunning! This is a special place. We were only here for one night, but I would love to stay again for longer!

This was an outstanding VRBO rental. Beautiful clean and exactly what we needed on our long road trip. It’s on the second floor (stairs) above a shop. You can see most of the northern Columbia River gorge. This place is on top of a mountain. Luckily for us the Empress venue for weddings was half way down the mountain, also very beautiful. The host was easy to communicate with and very convenient. There is laundry room and machine in the apartment. We absolutely recommend this stay for anyone coming to the area. So comfortable and relaxing!

This is such a beautiful apartment with a beautiful view. While my husband and I only stayed one night, we had a better experience here than we have during our last few stays in boutique hotels - everything was clean, the bathroom was stunning with a spacious shower, and the bed/bedding was so comfy. The additional snacks and bathroom toiletries were great touches, the owners put a lot of thought into setting up the space for guests. I just wish it wasn’t so foggy when we woke up, I would have loved to watch the sunrise while enjoying our coffee.I did deduct one star from our check in experience because the code we received didn’t work on the door. The owners were able to give us a new code and we didn’t have any issues after that.

The view here is amazing and we had a great time eating on the deck, watching the sun set. The property was clean and very well put together. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Breathtaking property!

This property was absolutely gorgeous and so cozy! The space was newly built May 2025, walking in feels like you’re the first guest to ever stay. It was immaculately clean, with no small details forgotten about. You’ll have everything you need, toiletries, snacks, condiments, brand new pots and pans, extra blankets, a cool washer dryer combo, and every channel you could ever want to watch. Everything is new and modern. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The view of the river from the house is absolutely stunning! I will look forward to staying here again someday :)

Good things come in small packages

This quaint place perfect for two has the best deck and views from the place. Very quiet if you want peace from the city. Matt and Leslie were very responsive to our needs. We had a wonderful stay.

Matt and Leslie's apartment exceeded our expectations! We only stayed for one night, but were very impressed with the space.The apartment was clearly well thought out in both design and for provided amenities. We had everything we needed, included extra treats and dog bowls for our two dogs! And of course the view was breathtaking.I can't say enough great things about our stay. Definitely look to book here if you are ever needing accommodations in the area!
