Kitchen facilities and unit furniture and appliances needs serious update everything very old. Unit very well located and we enjoyed the view and pool. Wifi not good. Smokers on balcony next door very unpleasant.

Front Door Not Working

We had to move to another unit because the front door would not unlock/lock properly. The management company was very responsive!

Disappointed

Not cleaned well. Dirty counters, tub and tables. 7-8 wall AC plug in's so loose cords fell out. Badly rusted door off M BDRM. Drywall cracking to right of patio door. The huge microwave eliminated most of already small counter. Cut my leg behind the knee from a broken white patio chair. Whole condo is dated. Owners need to spend some money.

Comfy and roomy for the 4 of us.

Loved our private balcony with splendid views of the gulf . Well equipped condo with good beds. We did notice that several electrical sockets would not hold the plugs, and the master bath was missing the rod to hold toilet paper, needs a little updating . Would definitely stay here again !

Stay at Driftwood Towers

I couldn't be any happier with our stay at your property. We had everything we needed for our stay. The unit was clean. There was plenty of clean towels, clean sheets on the beds with extra sheets if needed. There was plenty of dishes and everything we needed to cook with. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay at Driftwood Towers. I look forward staying here in the future for our vacations. No more stress trying to find a place.

Property location and Beaches are Great.

As always the beaches were wonderful. The property as a whole is great and there are beach and water activities available just a few steps away. The condo itself was at best average.

Amazing Views!

Our stay was very pleasant. I read previous reviews regarding how dated the condo was and I would have to agree that the bathrooms could be redone and some colorful wall paint to make it look and feel more tropical would help. The views are beautiful!! The furniture in the condo is very typical of what you find in Florida and I did not find it dated. The dining table was amazing and fit all my family nicely with extra room and charis left. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you needed and then some. The refrigerator was spacious and fit an entire weeks worth of foot nicely. The condo had ample room to get comfortable and have space for everyone. The master bedroom was spacious and had a nice size walk in closet and an additional smaller closet with sliding doors. The views from the master bedroom were wonderful! A nice addition was the side door from the master that led out to the balcony. The balcony had lots of chairs and tables for everyone to stretch out on. We even had some of our nightly meals out there with the sounds of the ocean made it lovely. The only thing that I did not like was the king size mattress in the master bedroom. It was very uncomfortable. I went to Target and spent $150 on a foam mattress piece that we laid out over the mattress and it was comfortable after that. The other bedroom had two twin beds that were comfortable and my kids said that they slept very good. Overall I would rent this same condo out again next year. For the cost and views it is perfect!! The Pros out weigh the Cons. Very happy with our stay! Breakdown of the Pros/Cons: Pros: Amazing Views Well Stocked Kitchen Nice Swimming Pool Large Balcony Large Bedrooms Nice Size Dining Table Nice Artwork Living Room and Entry Hall Lots and Lots of Storage Big Closets Pantry Washer/Dryer Lots of Comfortable Seating Big Refrigerator HOT Water and Lots of It! Very Safe, Family Friendly Door from Master to Balcony Cons: Uncomfortable King Size Bed in Master Small Bathrooms Bathrooms Need to be Updated Update Paint on the Walls

Family Vacation

First time in over 10 years for a family vacation with adult children...and we had a great time. Exterior does not have a 'wow' punch but 6D was spacious, clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well stocked and had a great beach front view! Would stay here again. Enjoyed meals at Bahama Bob's and loved, loved the take out Steamed Shrimp and Crabs and Lartigue Seafood (even the adult children wanted to 'stay in'). Publix is always a great and dependable but the local grocery at Pier 33 was a great close option with friendly service. Morning coffee? Try Liquid Life Café. And Ike's Banana Boats and Parasailing was a hit. Brennan with Ike's was really charming and helpful.

Fall beach trip

The fall rate for this condo was great, and is the main reason we selected it. We really enjoyed our visit and the condo had all we needed. The condo was a bit dated but for the price it was just fine. Bahama Bob's is right next door and the food there was fantastic , no wonder it was packed out the whole time we were there. Mac with Ikes each service took great care of us with the cushion lounge chairs and umbrella (very very worth the money, won't ever stay at the beach without renting those). all in all a very nice fall vaca.

Great location and price

My family had a great stay during our Fall Break. The price and location were the best in Gulf Shores. We have stayed at Driftwood Towers before, it is conveniently located right beside Bahama Bob's restaurant on the beach. This unit was on the top floor, so the views are great and the condo is a little larger than the others in the complex. This unit was also right beside the elevator which was also nice. The unit is outdated, the decor and furniture is well past its prime. Old wallpaper in the bathrooms and all the door screens leading out to the balcony were ripped apart. I do a lot of home improvements, so I wanted to go to Lowes to get some new screen and paint and start doing some work myself. But for the price, we would definitely stay here again. The rental company was easy to work with and they are located right on the way into Gulf Shores for easy check in/out.
