We loved Cape Limes! It was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The short walk to the beach was nice. The host was super quick to replying and answering our questions.

Loved our stay! Very clean, newer home. Beds are seemingly blocks of foam - comfortable and not but doesn’t matter because you’ll be tired from sun and the beach. That said, if you are looking for clear waters and white sand, this is not the beach for you. The water here is dirty from the bay/river with lots of sargassum. It’s a quick 10min drive to 30A-type clear water beaches down the cape which honestly for how clean and new the house was, isn’t a worst trade off. We still enjoyed walks along the local beach and afternoons in the sun. Proximity to the beach from house is 5mins. There is a regular coffee maker (not just Keurig, thankfully!) and the beach wagon is incredible, though it’s probably time for new bath towels. Very quiet street/neighborhood. The bugs in early September were pretty brutal, even with big spray. Yellow jackets, mosquitoes, horse flies, love bugs, you name it. The porch could use some fans to help mitigate it but on the CSB beaches if the wind isn’t blowing is tough so be aware! Brad was awesome, had great communication, and accommodating for us to stay an extra night. Overall the stay was wonderful and we would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Cape Limes! The location is great and the walk to the beach is not bad. The house was clean and well stocked. It’s nice not needing to bring our beach cart. We will definitely stay at this home again. We’ve also stayed a few of our previous visits at the owners other home The Beach Lilly and it was just as wonderful as Cape Limes.

Cape Limes was just what I needed! I cooked in most nights (thanks to a well equipped kitchen), slept like a rock in a big comfy bed, and took lots of walks on the beach, steps away from the cottage. The cottage was perfect - plenty of linens, nice furniture, overall a great place. Bradley was such a great host! I already look forward to coming back.

The home was very clean and nice. Loved the porches. Would have been helpful with more ample supply of towels/linens. Easy walk to the beach and not a very populated beach. The outdoor shower was convenient for rinsing off sand. Peaceful neighborhood.

The house is awesome. Definitely worth a stay. The walk to the beach isn’t bad. Everything we needed was in the house and there was also a beach wagon and some beach chairs. Balconies on the front and back of the house were great! Bradley was the perfect host….quick to answer any questions as well as providing helpful info. Great vacation in a beautiful setting! We will be back!!

Great Stay Overall – A Few Comfort Improvements Would Go a Long Way

We had a great stay at this beautiful property! The location was perfect, and everything was incredibly clean and clearly brand new. The home was well-stocked with all the major cooking supplies you could possibly need — we really appreciated that.One thing to note: while everything is new, the mattresses were very firm, and everyone in our group (ages 21–47) commented on how uncomfortable they were. It may just come down to personal preference, but it’s something to be aware of.Another small suggestion would be to consider adding blackout curtains in the master bedroom — the morning sun is no joke! Likely just a growing pain of new construction, but a tweak worth considering.Overall, we loved the space and had a wonderful time. With just a few small updates, it would be perfect!

We had an awesome stay at Cape Limes! Fit our family of 5 and our dogs very comfortably. The walk to the beach was so short and the beach cart provided for our beach chairs made the walk even easier. The landing on the bottom level was great for our dog crate and sandy shoes. Cape Limes is practically brand new so there were a couple things we wish were added to make the stay even more comfortable: dressers or more shelves would have been helpful. Also, towel rings or hooks would have been nice but that may be personal preference. Overall, our stay was fantastic. Previous reviews mentioned the mattresses were not comfortable, we disagree, everyone slept fine. Area wise, the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful and we Loved that it was right in between Port St Joe and T. H. Stone Memorial St Joseph State Park. Lots of great food choices in Port St Joe. Our kids enjoyed visiting the Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center and were so proud that “our house” had red lights outside so the turtles would be safe. The stars at night outside the house are Absolutely stunning.Thank you for a great stay and we hope to visit again!

The house was clean and easy access to the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet. The location was about 15 minutes to Port St. Joe and was close to places on Cape San Blas. Our family of 5 stayed very comfortable at this house.
