Kathy's Kottage. Nuevo bungalow en el lado de Missionary Ridge

Esta casa, construida en 2017, tiene todas las comodidades. Tres dormitorios, dos baños con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Tiene una sala de lavandería. El baño de la sala tiene una bañera / ducha combinada. Pisos de baldosas en todo. Una romántica chimenea está en la sala de estar. Se permite fumar en el gran porche delantero, donde podrá relajarse y dejar que sus preocupaciones floten. Detrás de la casa hay un pozo de fuego, también. Esta casa tiene un gran sótano para todos los ciclistas que aman las montañas locales. Los eventos son bienvenidos.

The host was very welcoming!!! The home was fantastic! It was very charming, welcoming and the Christmas decorations were a fabulous touch. We would stay there again and will highly recommend it to others.

Tammy was a fantastic host! She’s lives across the street from the VRBO, so she stopped by to introduce herself and encourage us to reach out if we needed anything. The house was perfect for us. She had provided everything we could possibly need for our stay. There were lots of toys for the kids and an assortment of games and puzzles. Also she provided a list of things to do in Chattanooga and recommended some places to eat. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely stay again!

Kathy’s Kottage was exactly what we needed for our 4-day family visit to Chattanooga! The house was so homey and cozy and you could tell a lot of effort was put into decorating and adding nice little touches. The house was a perfect home base for our outings to the Aquarium, Coolidge Park, Duckboats, Rock City, Ruby Falls, and nearby restaurants.Just an FYI for others that the house is close to the highway so when outside on the porch you’ll hear the passing traffic. And on occasion from inside you can hear 18-wheelers downshifting. This didn’t bother us at all and didn’t impact our visit but just wanted to include it so others are aware.

So cute! So clean! So comfortable! Everything anyone would need was provided, from the youngest traveler to our four legged family member. The perfect place for the cousins to play and enjoy each other during our Chattanooga visit. A cozy place for the adults to unwind also. Being tourists can be stressful, but there was none of that once we got back to our cottage.

Tammy was absolutely amazing!! The house was amazing! Definitely will stay again when we come back into town. It was so beautiful! Tammy was soo attentitive. The toys that Tammy had were so amazing, my son and daughter loved them so much, they didnt want to leave.

Fabulous trip

The house was great! It was very conveniently located to all of the activities that we wanted to do. The house had an AMAZING selection of toys for our little ones, and it was well laid out for 7 of us. The beds were very comfortable and the bunk beds were a HIT! Tammy was very easy to work with and made the stay so great! We will definitely return to this house again.

Great location and amenities!

This was perfect for our family. Tammy the host thought of everything. She has toys for kids of all ages. No need to pack up so much for a baby just ask her she provides so much. The homes she has are beautifully decorated. Very clean. It’s like your home away from home. She has a playground across the street for kids and other activities. She loves her flowers and the yards are beautiful. The fenced in yard in the back was great for our dog. Book this without hesitation. Thank you so much for everything. We are so glad you came to personally meet us. You rock!

We had a great visit!

This was a perfect place to stay. It was close to the college for the graduation and it was close to get to my brothers that lives nearby. We would definitely stay here again, if needed.

Great vacay location!

We didn't get to enjoy the gardens due to inclement weather, but play area and Garden area looked amazing. Very clean, excellent amenities, Tammy was a great hostess!

A Peaceful Respite for Gathering and Healing

Under the most heartbreaking of circumstances, our family found solace and comfort at Kathy's Kottage. We traveled from both coasts for a Celebration of Life in Chattanooga, and this beautiful home provided a much-needed sanctuary. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt a sense of peace and warmth. The Kottage was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. The fully stocked kitchen, which became a central gathering point for our family, allowed us to prepare traditional family recipes, providing a sense of normalcy during a difficult time. We were especially grateful for the pet-friendly policy and the secure, fenced backyard, allowing our four-legged family member to be with us without exorbitant fees. The location offered the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility, with easy access to major roads and grocery stores, yet far enough removed to allow for quiet reflection.Tammy, the owner/property manager, was responsive and thoughtful to messages and on the day of arrival, popped by for a quick minute to ensure we had everything we needed. Kathy's Kottage offered more than just a place to stay; it provided a haven of comfort and support during a challenging time. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Chattanooga.

Great Location for Downtown and local sites

Cozy long weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy and comfortable home. The house was fully decorated for Christmas! It was such a wonderful surprise! It was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Just to note, the yard is not directly accessed by a door - there are a few steps to reach the gate. The street itself felt safe and pleasant, but be aware that there are some homeless individuals in the nearby area. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting. Just be sure to read Tammy's full description of her property. She was an amazing hostess! It was a great stay, and I hope we are able to visit her lovely home again.

Has a basement for all you professional bicyclists. The house is just right for your family, with 2 other rentals down the street. Gray Gables and Ridgedale Roost. Dogs from little to big are welcome!

The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result.
My insurance does not cove the follow dogs: Dobermans, Chows, or Pit Bulls.
Please do not ask for a late check out. I respect that my cleaners have lives other than just cleaning my rentals. Feel free to stay another day. Thank you!
