Crave relaxation with a touch of Texas charm? Our Kemah cottage, just a mile from the lively Boardwalk, offers you the perfect escape! Relax at night in one of the comfy beds throughout the 3 bedrooms, gather by the crackling fire pit in the backyard, or grill under the stars with loved ones.
Cast a line off nearby piers, explore Kemah`s vibrant restaurants, or simply soak up the bay breeze on a quiet street. Every comfort awaits: free Wi-Fi, Roku with Sling TV, & streaming apps on smart TVs.
● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.
● Location: Clear Lake Shores community near Kemah, Texas
● Community Amenities: The home is conveniently located within walking distance of several Clear Lake Shores community parks with playgrounds, fishing piers, and boat ramp access.
● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.
● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.
● Parking: There is room for 3 cars in the driveway.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, this cozy cottage is perfect for spending quality time with your group. As you step inside, the entranceway to your right is a family-friendly bedroom, featuring a king bed, two full beds, a queen bed and an attached bathroom.
Back at the entrance, up a half-set of stairs lies the living room on your left and the kitchen and dining to your right. The living room is highlighted by a plush wraparound couch and a large flat-screen TV equipped with Roku, Sling TV, and access to streaming apps. In the kitchen you’ll find everything you need to whip up meals for the whole group, or the perfect place to spread out the take-out menus.
Continuing upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms designed with relaxation in mind, sit waiting for you to make yourself at home. One room features a king and queen bed, while the other contains a king and twin bed. Both bedrooms have shared access to a full bathroom located at the top of the stairs between both bedrooms.
When you are in need of fresh air, enter the backyard through a sliding glass door in the living room. The fully fenced space provides ample room for outdoor gatherings, complete with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and comfortable seating. Enjoy the fresh air and all Sunset Bungalow has to offer as you sit in this private oasis.
● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.
● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.
● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.
We are unable to price match any rates found on other booking platforms.
House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 8+ would need to be approved. We love hosting church groups, family reunions, etc., but do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
